I can tell those were not crunchy. You have to remove the starch by soaking them in water and then pat drying

You lose all credibility buy saying Fudpuckers is good. Everyone knows thats a horrible place to visit for food. Your recommendations on food are bad. You are in one of the most beautiful spots in the country, ofcourse the food is gonna be expensive. Its called profitability, 1. Maguires 2. Back Porch 3. Kenny Ds 4. Donut Hole 5. Buffalo Jacks 6. Dewey Destins (the dirty one)

Ugh, be nice! We were there for one week, for the first time ever, and I shared the restaurant’s we felt were worth it… and there were many that weren’t (so I don’t mention them). Also as stated, We liked fudpuckers for the experience… not the food. I appreciate you sharing the ones you like as that’s what I hope out of this community, I just wish you could have done it in a more respectful manner.

We live in Destin and love it. I would recommend staying in Destin pointe neighborhood on holiday isle. We have the gulf side beach, the jetties for fishing and then we also have the east pass beach where all the snorkeling boats come to snorkel. It’s paradise on earth.

Hi, I live in FWB, right next to Destin. You mentioned not being sure about how you pronounced it, it is pronounced like “nori-EGG-o”. 😊 I also wanted to say that I agree that a lot of restaurants are mainly “tourist traps” so they’re pricey and mediocre, but I agree with pwashburn21 who suggested Harbordocks/Boshamps/mguires/ donut hole, etc., those restaurants ARE excellent! Boshamps is my favorite but I will only go from September to February 😂. I haven’t tried the restaurants you listed, I guess because being a local I kind of take them for granted, except Fuds. I have been there once 😊. Glad you came to our little piece of paradise, but yes come back in the summer! ❤

Probably not cleaned as well as they should be. Heck for that matter most hotels are not cleaned as well as they should be in those people are there overnight so what would make one thing that they would clean in between if somebody’s only there for an hour or two?and I would think it would be a bit expensive if you have a layover that’s only an hour or two although I do know that traveling with kids can be challenging

Hear me out… Traveling isn’t always the cheapest or the Easiest but matter of the fact is “One Day We’ll Be Old and thinking about all the stories we could have told.” My husband has had the Delta Platinum Card for YEARS. And it’s been great. One companion pass, medallion status, sky miles, free checked luggage. We’ve loved it! BUT, it wasn’t quite enough. So recently I myself signed up for the Platinum card as well. Giving me 90,000 bonus miles. Free luggage for when I travel without him. And best of all a SECOND companion pass. With there being 4 of us this is ideal… I bring one kid & he brings the other. 🙌🏼 #TeamWork We make sure not to hold any debt on our cards because credit cart interest rates are INSANE. Pay it off monthly. Get the miles. Get the companion passes and VOILA, it’s helping us make these Trips a little less financially stressful. Right now I’m currently saving up those miles for a hopefully minimal cost Family Bali trip in the future. I’d love to hear in the comments what your favorite Travel Credit Card is? and If you are looking into the Delta Card, I’d be honored to refer you (link: americanexpress.com/en-us/referral/delta-skymiles-platinum-american-express-card?ref=MICHEmKCvs&XL=MIANS ) Bonus Miles for Me & Bonus Miles for you! #winwin Take the Trip FAM! One day We’ll Be Old. Let’s make sure we have stories to be told☺️
