How well do these sell? Or is this just honing skills?
@AdirondackIron4 күн бұрын
Not great on their own, but a lot of folks will purchase one along with a fireplace poker or something like that
@ElderBoob4 күн бұрын
@AdirondackIron ah I see. And I assume the fire pokers sell well, as you've got a big pile of these going lol.

that pipe is $4.50 per inch. as of now
@AdirondackIron4 күн бұрын
Oh man thats crazy! I actually stopped making them to sell because the newer pipe is a lot thinner

Umm...it may be easier to turn what's in the pic into a smoking pipe than a bowl bro

I’ve done this before, but your process looks much easier than what I did. Thanks for sharing.

Take a plumbers copper cap and then say you made a ladle or scoop out of it by pounding it over form. I don't see any real black smithing work other than you texture the metal. Sad if this is what black smithing has lowered to now days.

I'm not sure I'd say 360lbs. You're moving that around pretty easily. I know some guys that are pretty astute individuals that have a pretty hard time moving 200lbs of dead weight and you are no where near the caliber of person they are "even with your 2x4... I call bullshit!+...

I like that iron ring you use to get the bowel shape. I carved a bowl shape in the end grain of a dry oak log with a diamond wood carving disc in my grinder. It worked well for an immature.
