Glad about the fruit trees. Hopefully they're a nice mix.

I have been following this tree planting project for a few years now and i have some questiojs for the organizers: do you harvest rainwater around these trees to assist these trees in rooting. Are these trees biome appropriate (meaning that they are similar to natives/well suited to the environments)? Are you planting lots of varieties or are you creating fields of monocropped tree plantations that need extra maintenance? If you are polycropping, what are you polycropping? Is it intermixing types of trees? Are you including shrubs and vines? Are livestock being put to good use between the rows, to help manage weeds, pests, and add natural fertility???

This looks like a monoculture of a single tree species? In nature there would be more diversity. Creates resilience. ATP should consider more diversity in their reforestation efforts.

That has the same views views Lake Tahoe. If you have mountains for skiing nearby, the illusion would be complete.

What proportion of your trees have continued to thrive? I read Armavir had some trouble with trees. Also, do you have a plan to help areas that cannot support trees, to help preserve soil stability? As in planting trees in all fertile and suitable areas with enough water and care from the community to irrigate them (not just abandon them), while the central and southern plateau is best used to grow drought resistant shrubs. Australia did something similar to halt progression of deserts.

Do you have an estimate of how many trees need to be planted to restore all Armenian forests?

i definitely relate to every tree you plant feeling like it's your child. i used to do a lot of tree planting/reforestation work too growing up and i felt that connection to not just the trees i planted, but every living plant.

Never knew Armenia was so de forested and barren! Such a depressing site and reminder it is happening all over our planet! BUT what amazing transformations! Love the look of green places in City and other areas...and all those barren hills will be green and alive again! Amazing afford by so many people! Well done! Congratulations!

In China they are subsidising gas from waste projects,so they no longer need to cut down so many trees ! Plant fruit trees,I only have a small garden but planted a dwarf Plum and had a good crop which I could share with others. If every one did this it would make such a difference ! We need to plant trees across the world, make it a garden planet.

It is really impudent to be able to even shoot this kind of video. Considering the reason behind dislocation of Armenians from Azerbaijan. I would still feel bad for this woman if she would explain the facts and whole history behind this events. Why it is not stated in the video about how Azerbaijanians had been killed and tortured in unbelievable and unmentionable ways and had to run (literally) from their own lands in Karabakh? Why there is no disturbing pictures about what happened in Khodjaly? I am against war and nationalism in any kind. But is it really hard to understand people who traumatized by witnessing such a horror by a certain nation does not wanna be around and live around with the people from same nation? I am really comfortable around Armenians, I even have friends. But who am I and who you you are to judge and blame those poor people, who lost everything they had, including their sanity in some cases.
