In the first 20 min of the 1st episode of the series, ALL the speaking characters (except for the lead) starting with the guard & suicide bomber, & including the counter-terrorist leader, the CT sniper, AND CT explosives expert, and continuing with the CS (Chief Superintendant?) and the Home Secretary - are ALL women? Every character (authority figures) excluding the protagonist and the bombers husband who doesn't speak. Talk about social engineering. @salvatorebelloni8422Ай бұрын
Are you seriously trying to claim SO19 are not trained to kill? They've literally killed multiple threats before. And the SAS wouldnt have been ready in time. Its not really necessary to use them for something like this. Btw, every soldier is trained to kill. Its not unique to the SAS. And plenty of SO19 have military backgrounds. You dont need to be special forces to kill people.

@salvatorebelloni8422Ай бұрын
@Tomo-hb2tq So if you were an ex soldier like me, why would you think the SAS are required to simply kill a couple guys? The reason I mentioned soldiers were trained to kill along with armed police is to point out how SAS aren't needed for such mundane encounters. You claimed armed police aren't trained to kill, which is ridiculous. Any force that uses a rifle is trained to kill, which you should know as you are an ex soldier.

For television it's exceptionally well consulted and portrayed. We can get very pedantic and nitpicky because we are of course all RAF Delta SEALS specializing in amphibious mountain operations likely on leave from firefights on the Swiss-Bolivian border but still. Very few shows have such few things to nitpick, none of them are perfect because it would bore the tits off civs. I'll admit though that the boa constrictor sex choke on that Glock trigger at the end was rather glaring.
