Felder created so many great guitar fills and leads. Too bad Frey and Henley treated he and Meisner so badly. A two man dictatorship. Their creative brilliance took place between 73 and 79. They have made a fortune in royalties ever since not to mention the tours with the various versions of the band. Vince Gill has been a great addition. I wish Felder was still part of it. I saw them in 73 when Bernie was still there. They were fantastic just 4 of them. Vocals were superb.

I got to “live” the topic once, as a teenager of 17 yrs young. Visited my grandma in a small town over the summer, 1,300 miles from home. I’d “drag main” in her car & garnered lots of appreciative stares from guys. It felt sooo good as my Senior HS class was 850’ish kids. I felt like a very small fish in a big pond of 3,000 kids, back home in Tulsa. Thank you ~ Eagles! 🫶🫶
