When you get something from amazon, i always make sure im looking at the store to see if it's the original one and not a reseller. Too bad the battery didn't last that long but good you got a cheaper version that works. Thanks for making this vid!

By law only one cleaning method needs to be listed. Dry clean only is just the easiest method. Cold wash will work fine most of the time. Sometimes the dyes are unstable and will run, unlikely for a jacket like this, highly likely for a woman’s silk blouse/dress.

@ Sadly, I’ve now got obsessive compulsive disorder and the washed thrift store jackets that I used to wear cause me a lot of anxiety now, as I imagine there is still another persons sweat under the arm area of the jacket, I wish I wasn’t like this as I haven’t worn them in years. Tried one on yesterday and afterwards I felt somehow sweat was on me, it’s really irrational but a strong part of me believes it, hours later after trying on jacket I’ll still feel uneasy. Sigh. But yeah, the washing machine method can work, I’ve even washed wool blazers on a 30 wash and been fine and others on a 40 wash

It was a place to go It was always the baby mall or "ghetto" as some people called it, compared to Swansea but they had enough The movie theater at the Harbor mall hung on a lot longer than the one in the Swansea mall so I think it might've extended this Malls life a little There were times when we'd just go into watch a show but a lot of times we'd hit up the stores while there
@JonathanBrowneMenziesАй бұрын
Too bad the mall in its old format wasn't able to hang on, but the redevelopment seems to have been a success. I've passed by (from the highway) a few times and the parking lot is always packed. For those of us in middle age, nothing brings back childhood like an indoor mall. Thanks so much for watching, happy holidays!

I'd be wary if the people under these costumes start cursing at you at 100 words a second in their native tongue since many of them can barely speak English and the only English they know is "FIFTEEN DOLLAR!! YOU PAY NOW!!".

NYPD has attempted to crack down on them in recent years. Although they're still in Times Square, they seem to be less threatening when soliciting tips. But many do target tourists who may be unaware that tipping is optional. Thanks for watching Charles and happy holidays to you!

I came to the right place! I have an absolutely beautiful 100% wool coat I bought in Scotland. It’s a shade of orange that was perfect for Thanksgiving, so I wore it to dinner, but managed to spill my mother’s famous garnet sweet potatoes with marshmallows, butter, and pineapple juice sauce all over it on our way to my son’s home. Ugg. I rinsed it in cold water, but I knew it would have to be cleaned, and $55 was just too much for me! First, I took off the belt, measured it, and threw it in a regular dark load in cold water. It turned out fine. So, I watched this, and am getting ready to do it tomorrow, because I have to go to the park right now for the Mapleton Tree-Lighting Ceremony, with the darling second graders singing.. I’ll let you know what happens.
@JonathanBrowneMenziesАй бұрын
Thanks for watching, good luck with your coat, and please let me know how it turns out. Glad you were able to clean it before the tree lighting ceremony. Wishing you happy holidays!!!
@kjirstinyoungberg7794Ай бұрын
@@JonathanBrowneMenzies Thanks, Jonathan! It turned out sp much better than any dry cleaning could have done. The lining, of unknown content, is a bit longer now, so I’m ripping out the hem and bringing it up to match, but that was happening already anyway. I doubt it had anything to do with the washing. I did run it through a second time without the Woolite, as I know soap residue can cause dirt to stick, too. I’m kinda sad we’re into Christmas now, as this coat really only works for autumn. Di wish I could send you a photo!

Great video. Especially useful because d-shite installer put the detector above a stairwell where a ladder can't be used, and it is about a 4 foot reach to the detector. Unfortunately, I don't have it anymore. Great car but I just wasn't handy enough to do basic repairs by myself. If you're mechanically inclined and willing to invest the time and effort, there's nothing on the road better looking than an oldschool Jaguar XJ6. I have a Lexus now and it's a better fit for me personally, but still can't compete with the legendary Jag styling.
