If you're a westerner, Ph would be your first choice as they are westernized and Thailand is second. If you're Chinese it's Vietnam or Thailand. If you're Indian, you should consider Vietnam followed by Thailand, as they are both Buddhist and somewhat similar cultures. (Vietnam is more Sinosphere but the people are friendlier than Thailand towards us by a small bit.) Phillippines has some friendly people whom i've seen in partires but online some of them seem very racist, so I'm not sure if i'd want to go there. Thailand is the most developed in terms of infrastructure and healthcare and I live here as it's affordable if you're making a western standard of income or working in large MNC's in thailand. So for all 3 groups - Thailand is a common factor of top 2/3 choices.

Our freedom here is what I have always heard from foreigners: organized chaos. But don't forget the Philippines is what you call a 3rd world and developing country. Yes, the USA and the Philippines are the same democratic countries (that's the only comparison), however, the USA is strict in implementing the laws and regulations. Enjoy life 😃by visiting the Philippines. When you are in Rome do what the Romans do.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! You bring up a great point about the differences between developed and developing countries, and how cultural context plays a big role in understanding and appreciating each place. Our goal with this content is not to directly compare the Philippines to the USA but to highlight the unique charm and qualities of the Philippines, including its "organized chaos" and vibrant culture. Every country has its strengths and challenges, and that's what makes exploring them so fascinating. Thanks again for your input.

I don’t get it you are comparing a first world country vs a developing country. USA 🇺🇸 is very different because we are the country of laws and regulations while the latter is a country of happiness, kind and lovely people. They have laws and rules that they follow too that the government imposed. This content is like comparing David and Goliath, why not compare other first world countries to the US and other developing countries to the Philippines.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We understand your perspective, and you raise an important point. The goal of the video was to highlight unique aspects of each country, not to diminish either one. While they are different in terms of development, each has strengths that deserve recognition. Comparing first-world and developing countries can provide a broader understanding of contrasts and similarities. That said, your suggestion to compare countries within similar contexts, like the US with other first-world nations or the Philippines with other developing countries, is great! We’ll definitely keep that in mind for future content. Thanks for watching and engaging with the video!

Concerning the Vietnamese eVisa. When entering the dates for accommodations always enter a date 90 days from arrival even if you're moving locations. If you enter anything under that they will write in the entered date as your expiration date. I had to leave after one month because of this mistake, I entered the 30 day hotel reservation for the first month and they limited the Visa to 30 days. And every day I went to the Immigration office to rectify this they would not see me .

Thank you for sharing your experience and this important tip! It's a crucial point for anyone applying for the Vietnamese eVisa to be aware of. We will make sure to highlight this in future discussions to help others avoid the same issue. It's unfortunate that you had to go through this, especially with the difficulties at the Immigration office. Hopefully, your advice will save others from similar challenges. Thanks again for contributing!

it is not hard to understand? people immigrate to other countries for jobs and when they save enough money, they will want to come back to retire or open a business in their country. Nowhere is better than home unless there is no job at home.

hmmm,... certain things you mention are not quite true: Japanese homes and apartments can be incredibly cluttered (especially with clothing hanging everywhere), ... quite a few Japanese are not prepared for Summer (if you listen to local news they will too often announce who died recently because of heat stroke), ... the bus in my neighborhood is consistently late,... to me, convenience stores are depressing and sterile, the clerks have a tough life, especially the guest workers, .... trains can shut down completely during Winter snows (or with someone committing suicide) and during the last commuter trains the platforms can get filthy with people's vomit.... based on personal experience, doctors in Japan can be extremely incompetent ...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences! It’s true that life in Japan, like anywhere else, can have its challenges, and personal experiences can vary widely depending on the location, circumstances, and perspective. Our video aims to provide a broader picture of life in Japan, highlighting common trends and general observations rather than capturing every specific detail. For instance, while some homes might be cluttered or buses late in certain areas, others may showcase the minimalism or punctuality Japan is renowned for. Similarly, the convenience stores and public transportation systems are celebrated for their efficiency, though individual experiences can differ, as you've described. Your points about summer heat and the pressures on workers are absolutely valid and highlight important aspects of life in Japan that we didn't explore in depth. We truly appreciate you bringing these nuances to light, it adds valuable context for our audience. Thanks again for your comment and for engaging with the video! We’ll consider these points for future content to provide a more balanced perspective.

I lived in Canadan for 40 years, moved my family to Germany in 2019, mainly to experience culture and get my sons a proper trade education. Canada is some serious issues, but both Germany and Canada suffer from the affects of high taxation, socialist policies and uncontrolled immigration. You cannot have an open border AND a social welfare system. You will be overrun by immigrants looking for support. Think Canada or Germany are bad now, wait 8-10 years when the number of pensioners increases relative to the net taxpayers that don't work for the public sector.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world. There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia. Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.
