I like the portability offered by Charm. Gum lets me read my code with some colour formatting, and I can use it on any device with a CLI. I'm here for ANSI colours. Those have always been impressive. Still working on my TUI standard look and feel. This is where I am at currently: type TTDefines.h | gum pager --background #00FF00 --line-number.foreground #0000DD --italic --border thick --border-background #00FF00 --border-foreground #0000DD

Hi! Would it be possible to display the form of adding a new task "over" the Kanban table? Just on top of it, not like quitting to a new terminal. It would be great to look that :-)

Hello, I have forked a version of Nap that focuses on markdown snippets (kugarocks/markdown-finder). It's a tool for quickly locating code snippets in Markdown files. Use --- to divide sections of a Markdown file, making it easy to copy code from each section's code block. Charm CLI is really cooooooool. I love so much!

I am not shure about Charm VHS specifically, but with other TUI stuff it is not about your shell (PS or standard shell), rather than about your _terminal emulator_. The new windows terminal from the windows store (the one with transparency and tabs) is reported to work much smoother with projects such as this than the default one.

I can't tell if you're legit accidentally ignorant and need to know or if you're too lazy to do an internet search for something.... try looking it up online. It's not like you won't find the correct answer very quickly and easily

Thank you for the great Log module. I'm trying to implement the logger into my bubbletea application, I want to show the logging and in the same time include help etc in the view. I managed to do a very hacky solution in which I use the logger in my model, I write to it and then take the string and add it to a bytes.Buffer in my model. I use this bytes.Buffer in my model View to display the log string. Naturally I lose the nice colors of the log line. I think there should be an easier way to implement it. Am i missing something?

Hey, the KZbin channel is a great jumping off point, but it's definitely worth looking at the repo on GitHub as there are plenty of examples over there along with documentation on pkg.go.dev Hope that helps!

Hey, we're just a group of people who love open source and terminals. All of our libraries are also being used to build some paid products behind the scenes that we're looking forward to sharing with the community. We're fortunate to have investors who believe in our long term vision for the command line and have supported us in building a foundation of free, open source software that will allow us to build some pretty kick ass solutions in the dev space.

Asciinema support for VHS would be amazing. Asciinema is a terminal recording application. This would allow somebody to quickly record instructions without having to write a tape file and then render it with VHS.
@charmcli3 ай бұрын
Hey, that sounds like a cool idea. I haven't used asciicinema personally, so not sure what that would look like. By all means please feel free to start a discussion on GitHub to see what others think of this + include details on what that might look like :) - bashbunni github.com/charmbracelet/vhs/discussions
