You'll have to turn on the answering machine using the “Answer on/off” button on the base. You'll hear a confirmation on the base confirming it has been turned on.

So you walk for almost 30 minutes, You feel tired, So you got home, Randomly a ring alarm goes off, So you check everywhere And you had 30 more seconds to find it. So you put in your code and disarm it. And it turns off. (watch and focus on what they do)

Alex. This was perfect. i was so frustrated with this but your instructions were near perfect. All I would add is a little more focus on the source; AV1 - AV6 and Audio on the configuration menu. with AV1 and AV5 i only got 2 speakers and sub but, on "Audio" I got all 5 speakers and the Sub. Still I had nothing until i watched your video. Much appreciated.

This was a great tutorial, thank you. If i set this up to play a shared album (trying to have a place where multiple families can add photos for our parents) will it automatically update with the new photos people have added to the shared album? I hope that makes sense.

Did not play nicely with Google Pixel Pro 9 XL. Incoming calls didn't seem to be an issue but caller complained of audio issues on their end. Outgoing calls were hit and miss. Worked sporadically at first and the only way to resolve it was to unplug Cell2Jack and pair it up again but then the troubles continued over and over. Had to continually turn off bluetooth to make outgoing calls. Returning it because of these frustrating connect issues.

Was your cell phone far away from the Cell2Jack? If it was, this could’ve been the issue. If the audio quality still doesn’t seem to sound good, you can download an installer from the official Cell2Jack website onto your computer. You would plug in the Cell2Jack to your computer. It’s like a software update for the Cell2Jack.

Do you have voice guide on? If you do, you can turn off voice guide, and it will also turn the start-up sound off. If you don’t, you can check settings for an option for the start-up sound.

What if you want the option of choosing between audio from tv speakers or receiver?

Great question! If you want to switch back to TV speakers anytime, you can do so without unplugging the HDMI cable. All you need to do is turn off the receiver when the TV is on. When you click the volume button on your TV remote, it should say "TV Speaker." If you want the audio back to the receiver, turn on the receiver, and it should say "HDMI Arc." Hope this helps!

It looks like videos cannot be played on your TV. Did you download the videos as an MP4? Also, you can check the type of video format your TV needs when you want to play videos. I have an older TV, and when I try to play videos on it with a USB stick, it says it's not supported. I tried everything, and it still doesn't want to play videos.
