I’m still around guys. I plan to do a decade of ownership video at some point. I still have the same rifle, but it now has a 35x Night Force ATACR on top.

Two of the cons you listed are due to the sage ebr. The national match stock you rifle came in was bedded to the action for better accuracy and is lighter than the sage

Remember seeing these fly over my house after they took of from SJU airport back in 73 or 74. As they flew over our house the roof of it would rumble with the sounds of its big engines. Hope Tinker Bell is still flying today.

I know this is 10 years old, but I'll still comment on this video. It's pretty impressive, but it would be a little quieter if you put flash cards or 2 (or thin cardboard) inside the end of the suppressor where the bb exits. It will act like a fart flap. I've made my own airsoft suppressor for my Non Blowback M45A1 and only used 2 PVC (1 for the shell and the other to hold the adapter and shell), soda caps and a adapter peice that can fit on the orange tip. On the end and middle of the suppressor, I had a cardboard cut as a fart flap, and the sound reduced a lot to where I didn't hear a crack at the end of the suppressor. I did have a few baffle strikes, but that was when I was testing. The final design is perfect, but the sad part is that my M45A1 broke and needs to be replaced

My Grandfather was a pilot in WW2 and received a Purple Heart flying a C-46d in OPERATION VARSITY. I have a copy of his narrative report, he was inches from death when German flak cut through the pilot’s compartment…the majority of the planes in his formation went down…it’s unbelievable I’m even here. {FROM REPORT} I took off, using 66 inches of MP and full RPM developing 2700 RPM. There was no difficulty in the take-off and the plane left the ground easily about 3/4 of the way down the runway. I had no diffioulty in the rendervous or in keeping in formation to the DZ. Upon approaching the Rhine River I noticed puffs of flak and saw tracers directly ahead of me. After crossing the Rhine I could not see the ground because of the heavy smoke beneath me. I gave the order for the troops to jump at 10:14 at an altitude of 700 feet. My airspeed was 105 -110 mph. I started to turn on a reciprioal heading to get back to friendly territory. Before completing the turn I saw a plane in front and above me in a climbing turn with its right engine and wing on fire. During the turn a piece of flak came through my left window going through the roof of the pilot'e compartment, cutting the wires of the radio compass and command sets. After completing the turn, I saw on my right, a plane coming down smoking. One wing had broken off. I saw 3 chutes come out of another burning plane. When I got across the Rhine. I saw 4 chutes come out of a burning plane and I notioed, anather burning plane at an altitude of about 1000 feet. I saw this plane hit the ground and explode. I did not see anybody get out. I identified all of the planes, which I have montioned above as C-46s. About 45 minutes after the drop, I could not locate myself on the map and circled a landing strip. It was A-07. They told me that a C-46 had made an emergency landing there and asked me to land and pick up the crew. When I got on the down-wind leg I lowered the landing gear and reduced the air speed to 120 MPH. The plane started to shudder violently. The instruments indicated, however, that the engines were alright. Upon feeling the shudder, I incressed the power setting and made another circle. During this circle I reduced my speed to 180 MPH. While turning on to the base leg, the violent shuddering occurred again. This time I came in and landed. As yet I don't Inow the full damage to my plane due to any action. 1. Shell came through left upper pilots side window, striking overhead panel, knocking out main switches and radio equipment. (Can be replaced by non overhead panel complete with connecting wire bundles). 2. 30 Cal hole in top fuselage, came out left side opposite navigator, across astro dome and lodged in sound proofing above navigators table. 3. 30 Cal. came in left side tail wheel fairing, and out right side (No visible internal damage). NOTE: AC repairable

Young man I really enjoyed your review of your weapon. As an old M14 guy, I can tell you, you have a good grasp of this weapons system. I own a BULA DEFENSE M21 and I think you will be amazed. I also have a custom built M21 on a Winchester milled receiver with a Hart barrel and it truly is a .75" moa platform with my hand loads. I run 173 gr through it. All total I have 12 of these weapons, half Springfield M1A and the others all milled receiver weapons. I will say my most fun one has got to be one of my SOCOM 16’s. One CQB SOCOM 2 and the other a first gen SOCOM 16. Add a SOCOM 16 to your wish list. I think you would love it! Really enjoyed your review! Keep your old warhorse running and turn some more guys and gals on to M14 platform weapons. Your a good ambassador for it. Oh, I have a SAGE stock, just a little hesitant to stick it on one. You helped me make up my mind.
