Hello, thanks for looking. I followed the mods online google or youtube “verthein guitar works” and on the marshall amp forum look for the princeton tsa15 mod, although i did not follow that, there’s progile RyanV replying to that with a better mod compared to the OP. I assume RyanV is same verthein guy. I did make adjustments to mine to my prefered liking , i didnt do his full mods

So, you did some extra pulls, but decided you didn't want to show those? Fellini moves ? That gives a weird impression of the machine, because it is used to make ristretto volume shots.

You d be surprised how boring it is to watch full videos. All vids here come in pairs , theres a vid with full unedited and theres vid like this who just want the gist. Imagine watching someone counting the beans on the scale, then slurping the espresso at the end and staring pondering at the window

Hi Erwin, where did you source the second spring for this machine? Can you share the link/specs? Thanks
@severthee Жыл бұрын
From a bike suspension fork. It fits nicely inside the stock spring. Mind you, it is now harder to compress both springs, but i have increased the length of the lever to compensate

Hi Erwin, where did you source the second spring for this machine? Can you share the link/specs? Thanks
@severthee Жыл бұрын
Hello, it is a hack. I used a spring from one of my bike suspension fork. For some reason i was in luck and it was stainless. Not that it has any contact with water.

Thats a 15bar safety valve on the pump. It can be adjusted by filing the barb. But best to replace it with a gaggia baby OPV

hey! how did you manage to make a 54mm portafilter? doesnt the rok only fit a 51??

is it with attenuator always ON, or what..?

No , there is a switch at the top to bypass. The other switch compensates for treble loss on high attenuation

Hi ! May I use your clip in my compilation with credit and link ? What happened after this ?,
@toddheimbuch54292 жыл бұрын
No comments yet?? Weird. First off, love your initiative. It's a little difficult to critique your results...there's not enough context to compare...to judge how the tone is preserved...but, I will say, my gut sense is you have something there, and I am inspired. Could you try to achieve more of a clear A/B comparison...maybe demonstrate tone where it is saturating (without attenuation), where the neighbors are just starting to consider calling the authorities, versus what your attenuator can achieve. Thanks
@severthee2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, the attenuator is basic run of the mill lpad circuit. Whatever the others have achieved before me with any attenuator in a fender tube amp particularly the black face tone circuit is pretty much the same as mine. Very hard to capture this in video as the mic compresses everything the softest and loudest. It mostly capture the tone change and saturation
@MrBritrider8 ай бұрын
What is the difference between using a attenuator or just cranking the amp and turning down the volume knob on the guitar?
@severthee2 жыл бұрын
Yes, same fine grind size as i use with my strega. Without it, it makes weak watery espresso since it can not generate more than 5bars with a coarse grind
