Whoever said Edison is less sacky than Goat hasn't felt the wrath of Lightsworn. Recharge; Recharge; Wulf; Celestia; JD nuke; JD2 cause "Anotha One"; DAD; GGNORE? Edison literally has sack the deck. I play both both formats. Both formats are great. They each have many decks to play and are arguably the best formats from 2 of the best eras in Yugioh. H.A.T, and 2015 clown format are up there in my opinion. and if you make special rules Dragon Ruler format would have been great. Just Ban Dragon rulers from being their own deck meaning one attribute per deck, so you can play Tempest Dragunity, Blaster Laval, Redox Gadget, Tidal Mermail, ect. And then Ban Spellbook of Judgment. Format is much more fun like that otherwise there are basically many deck that are actually good for that time, but lost to memory and forgotten, drowning in the sea of Dragons and Spellbooks that plagued the era. Heroes are still playable, Dark World, Sams, Herald of Perfection. Dragunity, Gadgets, Mermail, Fire-Fist, Madolche, Evilswarm, Constellar. List Goes on. Even Blaster Hazy Flame is decent. I think even Quasar Synchron was possible then if I recall correct. Interesting Format if you Just take away the obviously broken decks. Probably the only Format I would say deserves a modified version.

I think yuginono should try to master a completely unconventional deck that will cost about 30-50 dollars at best: is like a zombie deck, Burn deck (a upgraded version), plant deck, and a ninja deck or even a ritual deck. This will allow him to choose cards with synergy, balance monsters,spells and traps and 3rd experiment with different combinations.

As a magic player who got into yugioh about a year ago, made the hard switch about a month or two in i love goat format. Stsrted playing it recently and it has that same feel of the way magic plays that i love with yugioh injected inside that feels fantastic

Magic drain is a good card but it is very wierd for me to say its not a newbie card but a skillful one. You need to know when to activate it. If you activate it against a heavy for example and you need the other face downs its better to save it and use a solemn for example.

I played goat when it was standard. The difference with now is access to Gold Sarc and Royal Decree than being extremely rare and expensive. The format was figured out back then and running anything else can be fun, but dont complain when you lose.
