I cannot find this part on intex's Amazon page. The part you have seems to be discontinued, and I'm not sure what I am supposed to do for the inside inlets.... there are only the outside valves :-(

Thank you for sharing this! I have a leaking air valve and have an extra valve. But, I could not figure out how to stop the water from draining out of the pool while changing the air valve...PERFECT AND RIGHT TO THE POINT w/o hearing about everything but fixing a problem🤔👏

These valves are kool n all but only of you are running 1 1/4 system. They really restrict the flow. Not worth the $ to have the same flow rate

I did this with the exception of having a kid hold a bowl over the hole from the inside while cutting the larger hole. Then quickly slipped the new jet in. Worked great. Good video.

I was so careful, but mine leaks like a sieve around the newly cut holes. I’m going to try to patch over the holes completely and try again. Considering buying additional gaskets so I can have one on the inside and one on the outside. If the patches don’t work, I’m guessing the only option will be replacement.

It's a WELL DONE JOB for me!!! I was a little bit scared to cut the pool but I thought that putting adaptor + adaptor again was already giving me headache...so I finally jump aboard!!! THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO!!!

You add more oxygen to the water and, according to the manufacturer's instructions, save on chemicals. A bit the same if you use oxygen tabs in your pool.

Always make sure and keep the filter clean of dirt. Stopped filter slows down pump speed.

What if you want to install this in a spot where there is no reinforcement? Will that be fine or will it tear? I was thinking about applying a patch either side, an making my hole there

You can add more oxygen to your pool with this adapter. On 38 mm intex bats and connection, they are today standard. Gives a more comfortable and soft water jet at your exit to the pool.

All of the Intex Part number 26004 or 26005 I found have an E at the end (26004E and 26005E). They have the same hose connedtion as what I already have and not a threaded connection as in this video. Does anyone know where to get the threaded connections. His came in Intex box so it seems they made them at one time or another?

@@MortenWork You got that right. I found all but the Intex Grids Part 12198. I have the smaller ones that came with the pool (75 mm) versus the ones that come with the 26004 kit (100 mm). Between U.S. Ebay and Intex I got the individual parts. Could possibly buy from China through AliExpress but they have such low ratings for actually delivering what they sell I didn't risk it. Hope to find the last two parts by next spring. Thanx for all the help. Am using your video when I install it all. For now I can use the smaller grids but will look better with the larger ones so still looking.

I've got exact same pool. I thought the inlet strainer that you pulled out from inside pool is glued or stuck to pool❓I'm concerned it will rip a big hole if I pull it out❓Mine seems to be molded to pool, however I may be wrong.

This is an Intex original part. Nothing is glued. The adapter is held in place with the supplied plastic straps, as shown in the video.

@@MortenWork Ok finally got my pool packed away for winter. I was able to just pull out strainers and replace with new system easily. I did find out that black plug is only used to stop the water flow during assembly. Other then that you don't need it. Thanks for great video

Please see in the description which Intex Part number. Don't know if the parts fit the Coolman pool. The valves fit Intex 38mm hoses.

Difficult to answer why it doesn't work. The valve may be blocked or your pump is not powerful enough

Do you know the size of the inlet? I have a bestway sandfilter and I was wondering if this would work with it. I believe my connection hose is 2 1/4 inches.
