Beautiful voice, but the performance lacks vigor. For one, the tempo is too slow. He needs to lean into "the announcement" with more emotion for the message that he is enunciating.

I’ve been working on making a recording of singing this aria myself recently. I’m waiting for my media friend to let me know when the final product is ready to share. This man has a nice voice. Interesting ornamentation choices.

What makes this the second hardest song for baritones, but more so, bass-baritones that they will sing in their lifetimes is where the vowels happen as your voice transitions registers.
