Hello. Nope. The Filter is actually bidirectional. There is no check valve in the filter, so it can be used in either direction.

@DoctorEvilHands

I am not familiar with that generator. It is unlikely you will be able to adjust the engine speed. That fast engine speed is needed to turn that alternator to generate electricity.

I'm so confused man, this is the 5th video I watched and they all did something different, one guy took off the entire bumper cover, then one guy did it from the bottom by the wheel, then another guy went under the hood now you doing it this way

LOL, I don't know what those other guys were doing. I show you the best way to remove the head lamp. The other videos probably shows the removal of different parts.

I like this video. You obviously know what you're doing. You don't talk very much. For us beginners,if you could explain every step you're taking and why this would be very helpful. Tell us what kind of oil you recommend and what cleaning products you are using. Please don't assume we know what you're doing. If you explain more,my friends and I will gladly like and subscribe. Thank you for sharing your videos.

The Craftsman unit is almost identical to the CS3310. The base and wheel assembly is a little different, as well as the color. The process for changing oil is the same. Thanks.

Actually, the rope in the cylinder is an old school trick when replacing valve springs on overhead valve engines. It prevents the valves from falling in however I would not recommend doing this method because these Pistons are aluminum and can be easily damaged if you don't know what you're doing. The safest easiest way is to use a wooden dowel rod placed on the crankshaft counterweight where it will stop against the connecting rod. Some crankshaft counterweights have pre-drilled holes that you can slide in a number one Philips or center punch in there and lock it against the connecting rod as well.

There is multiple oil drain outlets on this unit. You can unbolt the lower shoot, only 3 bolts, and the oil drain on that side has a hole below it so it drains with little mess. There is also a fill port on that side as well. This is how my 3310 is setup.

The tiller is suppose to be greased every 25 hours or yearly. Almost no one does this and this is the main reason why their transmission strips out. The owners manual (viewable online) list on page 27 to grease tiller by removing the two phillips head screws and pump grease until old grease flushes out the top vent screw as an indicator gears are lubed properly.

I don't know the model # off hand. I will physically check the generator when I get a chance. You can try this site www.ereplacementparts.com/briggs-and-stratton-16550-5500-watt-wheelhouse-portable-generator-parts-c-16758_24390_26173.html or look on ebay for Wheelhouse 5500 carburetors. I hope this helps
