Kathy here - first, I just found your channel and for this to be the first video I saw you react to was priceless! I love it! Your appreciation for a different genre type of style for this song was great. If you like Haley, you need to check out her songs she did on American Idol. I don't know why she didn't win; except I don't think she was "wholesome" enough for the viewers! I think she is a phenom in singing and deserves more recognition for her talents.

Her name is Amy Lee, Best female vocalist in my opinion. The song is not actually about a breakup, its about the death of a loved one. The music video is an artwork... Notice in the video how her feet never touch the ground and she’s in all white with bandages all over her. She’s representing that she’s a spirit and the one who has died. The guy is left behind with all their memories and dressed looking like he just got back from a funeral.

This song isn't really a religious song, although it certainly contains Biblical references. It is a very sad song, overall, as it is about romantic relationships gone wrong. I've heard it many times and it gives me goose bumps every time and makes me tear up every time.

Just read on the meaning and my suspicions were right. Amy was deceased in the video. If you watch closely, she never touched the ground, nobody notices her walking around the fountain and look how she was dressed and the strands of cloth is wrapped around her hands and wrist. It was also right before her band member left the group. He was the guy who looked distressed and played the piano. That was the first thought I had watching this video for the time. The signs are so clear and noticeable.
