I have been a long time fan of Alabama and have always considered Mark a member of the group. Before he joined - I don't feel they were " Alabama "

I saw Alabama AND it cost me 25 dollars and I was so close you could spit on the stage The world has lost their minds charging 800 dollars to see someone now.....We are crazy in love with wealth

Guys quit simplifying this and demonizing Kevin this is a very complex issue and we probably know very little. They were all friends still to the end

Talent that is rarely seen today. I think that I lived through the best years for Jazz and rock music. Please let me know who in recent times can match Styx, Steely Dan and Queen and the Eagle’s.

Cronin comes off as a guy who's desperately trying to give the impression that he's the "good" guy. His disingenuousness just seeps through that fake smile. The problem with Gary coming back wasn't just alcohol, it was Cronin and all the sappy ballads he was writing.

Cronin could have helped him more than he did. Gary was crying out for help, Cronin should have looked past the surface, and helped him. Gary might still be with us.

ALABAMA BAND: MOUNTAIN MUSIC TOUR 1982: In 1982 on the Mountain Music tour I met drummer Mark Herndon during a break of the band playing softball 🥎 against the local radio station DJ’s. I was a beginning drummer and asked him how to play the fast part on Mountain Music. He showed me with his hands on his legs explaining it was a paradiddle-diddle between the kick and snare 🥁. He said to learn it slowly listening to Ride the Train from the Feels So Right album. I’ll never forget how kind he was to a young drummer and a total stranger! I’ll always love the Alabama band!
