Duhhh.... a 12" cone will shift far more air than a 10" at the same power. Every day of the week. It's not rocket science if you know what you are doing. c.38 square inches of cone vs c.31 square inches? If power was the sole determinant 18" bass speakers wouldn't ever be needed.

My above statement was noting the disparity between Recorded date vs release date of Diary. Diary was recorded after the Blizzard Euro tour, mainly Great Britain. without going into all speculations...It was recorded before FW was heard by Randy Yet Diary was Released way after. So Fair Warning was renown for Edwards new styles of Vibrato..sounds not put down on his 3 previous albums. So people, especially EVH Fanboys were talking shiite that Randy was trying to copy FW. I was there in 1980 -83 'Alive' and was deep in the dialog with other axe wielders. So NO influence, coping, or inspiration was infused onto Randy by or from Ed. Which was impossible....

He is good but not a VanHalen. Eddie didn't invent hammer ons but he perfected them.

It's time to call it out. This guy is not EVH's father (who was a clarinetist).

Yo. Out there in KZbin comment thread land. I hate to be the one to raise this, but are we sure that Eddie's old man? Eddie's dad played clarinet. Evidence supporting?
