just installed front speakers in my 2015 sahara. This was the easiest and best instruction. Under an hour for me and way faster than any other video i've watched. Going to look for a radio install you've done now

When u put speakers in like that do u need a new amp or anything or center console?

Great step by step video. The only question I have that I didn’t see you show or talk about was, which wires are negative and positive? The factory speakers don’t have any markings to show me and my new speakers aren’t plug and play.

Thanks for posting this Garry, initially i did not think this was the way to go you were correct as the lower dash is very flexible. After watching another guy disassemble his entire dash I tried your approach. Much success! The speakers I installed did not require the old speakers to be modified and used as brackets thankfully.

Great video exactly what I was looking for. I am putting Kickers in this wknd and was wondering if I could reuse the Factory speakers ring. Did you put caulk on the speaker ring to seal it and also did you wire your speakers into the factory wire harness? Thanks in advance ✌

Gary, Great job! I have a 2014 also and was hesitant to change out speakers. It seems every model year is a bit different. One suggestion would be to show more detail on the following: 1. How you finagled the speakers out and back in on both sides. 2. How much and where does poly fill go? A lot of us are novices and crave details that the average car guru assumes everyone knows. Don't be afraid to take the time to be more thorough. Those who already "get it" will fast forward. Those, like me, who need the minutia will play and replay until we "get it". All in all, I think I will be successful! Just watched the sound bar install. Bravo! Thanks again.

This was a crazy easy install. I saw people saying this was taking over 2 hours to do the front speakers, I got the driver side speaker replaced in about 15 mins. Easy breazy.

Simplicity at its best compared to other vids...Thank you soo much for this! Im putting kenwood kfc 1680ie in front dash and 6.5 Dual brand subs (low end walmart no amp needed lol) just for bass filler. Need poly for subs in sound bar for sure idk about the front yet.

@@mackofalltrades9317 I ended up with the 2 subs in the front dash, and the kenwoods in the sound bar... man what a difference, thank you again! I swapped and played with speaker location and polyfil lvls quite a bit your method saved me a lot of time, that is truly appreciated as that commodity is not available too much these days lol.

Big thanks for posting this detailed video. Changed the speakers in our 2017 JKU over this weekend. Used your tip/trick for cutting up the factory speakers and using the bases as the adapter plates for the new speakers. Your video was a huge help with this speaker upgrade.
