How to register hlph in futaba 16IZ super?

I have futaba 16iz super, 16sz and 18sz 70 aniversary and i have to say the best screen is Futaba 16iz super and the worst is 16sz, you have to push a lot of pressure to select something and backlight is poor..the best one is Futaba 16IZ SUPER, awsome screen!!

Yeah I had got my 16IZ from futaba USA . They didn’t tell me the super was coming out . I asked can I return my 16iz for the super. What a hard time they gave me . Told me they be a restocking fee and I had to pay shipping back . The it had to be checked . So I said not worth it . Futaba back then we’re why better in the customer support then now .

Does the Super version has the same long life potentiometers that the T18SZH has? Mine is around 8 years old now with no problems except for the RTC data. I installed a new battery for that myself. Also is the LCD display upgraded from the 18SZ (does it look better)? Does Futaba have a comparison chart of the 16IZ vs the 16IZ Super? Thanks A.C. Glenn!

SO the extra 100 for the super kinda hurts me now. IM buying one or the other tonight. Is the super that much better than the standard iz? So you mention the gimbals are different and the quality is better with the super? Does the standard iz also have the option to use 2 receivers for like large 125 inch planes> THats important to me and the feel to the case and gimbals. Spill the beans my friend> is it worth the extra 100

i have always been a futaba man but their technical support is terrible in the UK so i will never buy one again....futaba is also overpriced and will soon find itself out of the market with competitors like radiomaster. All the kids will use the new gear and old men like me will cling to their own old familiar technology......ive already made the change and have both radiomaster and an old 18mz futaba which i am stuck with for the moment.

Nice transmitter and you guys in the US have a version that also supports older FASST receivers. Unfortunately the EU version does not support FASST, official word is that it's because of EU radio regulations but I am hearing from good sources that it might have rather more commercial reasons, as FASST protocol has been updated to perform 'listen before transmit' and the EU version of the 32MZ TX still supports FASST, even if it's also a new product released well after the law changes, which went into effect around 2015. Overall the EU starts to look more and more "funny" :-/ we now also can not use any nitro fuel above 12% and this is "for our own good and safety" yeah... Anyway the T16IZS looks to be a nice transmitter.

general rule of thumb... higher voltage = lower current (for same "Power") so lower temperatures...

They discontinued the 16SZ, so I guess this is the new 16 channel radio. Looks cool and great features as it's more PC compatible now.

These features are great in theory, but in practice, its just a hindrance. Linear stick feel gives the model a predictable feel. Having the radio manipulate your controls just throws me off.

What about the 16iz do you still need to power it?

I use the Futaba supplied neck strap and have been for 40 years.. .

Great beginning to a straight forward explanation of S.Bus.

So, do you have to use an S-Bus servo? Or, does the hub do the decoding? You would get serial digital to the hub, then PWM to a regular servo? Or, if you use S-Bus you have to go S-Bus the whole way? If you must use S-Bus servos, then I can see why this system is rarely used.

Yo. You say that if you set the DLPH to 7.4V and it senses less than that, it won't turn on. What if the battery falls below 7.4V after it's on? Also, does it fail closed like a Futaba switch does?
