I run on 20% health with 400+ resistance across the board along with auto stim perk, serpendity perk, dodgy perk and 100% self revive combine that with revenant and your a walking power house without power armor don't get me wrong power armor is cool but that's all I need 👍

During the earlier game you can make the first levels nuka cola bottling plants if you're worried about having endurance. I don't do this as my Dwellers are already super efficient and I like the look of the Nuclear power plant on top. And I use water purifiers and Hydroponics for looks even though the bottling plants are better.

Intelligence, also makes your craftings much more efficiently. For example, lets say a Legendary items has 3 days to get it done, give around 6 dwellers with 17 or less Int. You'll get it less than 1.5 days.

In any fallout game you need power armour as although most other good types of armour protect against standard damage they fare poorly against explosive based weapons and radiation and flying insects that poison you but power armour protect you well against all that

I would use it all the time but im like level 19 and dont have any perks to do with fusion cores, dont have access to good ones, and just dont have fusion cores

i have two vault, and one of them im not even bother with entrance security )) i leave next on the same level cafeteria 😂 with six dvelers with level 50 full special and heavily armed, max 3 deathclaw can go through but they die pretty quick on the next flor coz it the same story 😄

The Hellfire armor is my favorite power armor in Fallout 4. Don't know if you already know about that update a month ago that features the Enclave and their power armor, including the Hellfire armor. Though apparently in 4 fire resistance is now part of energy resistance, which makes sense since fire and heat are forms of energy.
