1984 Kevin Costner first movie Fandango is awesome! The first time I heard this song at the very end of a very intense but funny movie of college kids during the Vietnam war making one last blast through Texas and creating all kinds of havoc... Very good movie! My favorite! Watched right after I graduated HS and have been a true fan ever since! Good music!

This song has such a wonderfully complex medley of sounds and instruments that compliment equally intelligent lyrics! Everytime I listen to it, I pick up some nuance that I never appreciated previously. You can tell that these guys were having a hell of good time putting this song together.
