Yeah it started long ago. October the 7th was just more of the same. These Arabs have been doing this and thinking this since the late 1800s. It's why there became a fence and closed borders 30 years after 67. It's why multiple wars have been fought. It's why there's no Palestine. It's why there now can't be. Not as things are. Thank Russia and Iran for that. And the UN, and Western universities awash in Soviet propeganda. But make no mistake, that's the way it's been.

In my life till now there have been many disturbing/distressing events that have occurred in the World. Some of these events I remember occasionally, others I very rarely or never think about. There are 2 dates that remain in my mind and hardly a week goes by that they are not in my thoughts. (September 11, 2001, and October 7, 2023). I guess it's always going to be that way for me.

How anyone can justify 7th October is beyond me. They all keep saying, it didnt start on 7th October, but yes it did, Gaza would be intact now, if it werent for 7th October. My heart is totally broken for the evil of 7th October, for all the victims for all the losses. we will all never be the same again.

@@karinelaguerre5348 Im not justifying Israel's response, in fact I feel the response has been excessive, and I would rather they hadn't have gone in to Gaza all guns blazing. My heart breaks at all the suffering, Israeli or Gazan but we happen to be on a video where we are seeing the aftermath of the attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz and the aftermath is shocking and distressing and disturbing and nobody can condone october 7th. what you have to think about is, Gaza would be intact now if October 7th had not have happened. I worry for Rafah with all my heart as an incursion there is imminent, and Is are being urged to show restraint and I find the whole situation unbearable and I just want it to return to 6th October when none of this existed. your user name is odd, karine the war????? does that mean you want war, you approve of war.??

I discovered Avi Pazner through his contributions to i24news starting on October 7th, 2023. It struck me that his ability to provide a long historical perspective was essential both to Israelis and non-Israelis like me. I recommend his book 'Les secrets d'un diplomate" (Editions du Rocher, 2005).
