I was never aloud to watch this as a child.. ever .. good old 1988..

Don't remember seeing this on TV! "I was rude..." "That's alright, you're a teacher!" Back in the 1980s, teachers spoke to & treated kids like 2nd class citizens! It may have swung all the way in the opposite direction now! Was there ever hapoy medium?

The series fell away a tad with the departure of Vikki Blanche, i think.

Yo ... Coln is just like my ex father in law. (I'm sure most people know a Coln.) Very funny. Stig, did you write this?

I really like the wall art like that mural in the hallway and the gorilla peering through the window painting.

I remember when this first came out, I wasn't born yet but I watched it when I grew up a bit later on after it came on tv in New Zealand. I didn't like it at the time but it was my favorite australian show except for Blue Healers. I like Colin but I felt sorry about that lady who kept harassing him. Not his Mum but that other lady. Not the flatmate the other one. The one with the short fuse.

Colin's girlfriend in this simply turns out to be a thief!!!??? What a hopeless character arc. I loved Colin Carpenter as a kid. But that is some horrible writing to be fair.

Thanks so much for uploading these. I remember rolling around laughing at every line from Kim (everyone was great..) Watched it on BTV6 . In the days when waiting to see show a would take a week, and would generally be worth waiting for. Imagine that! Haha people would have uncontrollable fits of panic and die from lack of instant gratification. I reckon Col was such a better character with his own show. loved comedy company as much

Awesome Aussie humour series, unique and superbly written without the sourness that today's humour seems to have. Thank you so much for putting these up on youtube, they are lost treasures.

Stig, my husband Archie was mates with Paul Hogan when he was painting the Sydney Harbour Bridge. That was before I met him, but he used to talk fondly of the good times he had hanging out with you, Paul and Delvine.

This awesome thanks Stig. The early 90s was a very special time for me. And I fondly remember watching Col'n Carpenter every week. I can see you played Michael, but I wasn't aware you also wrote at least one of the episodes.
