It’s a long (but sweet) story. But, this band saved my wife and I’s relationship when we were going through a rough patch. That was 14 years ago, and I’ve never been more in love with her as I am now, even after all of this time. It was a gift for this song to come out so long after that era, because it always makes me think of her. We’re lucky enough to go see them on their farewell tour this year.

Sooo... This is one of my favorite songs. I looked up this live version to just see what the rest of the band looked like. I'd have to say, this version was a bit underwhelming from the lead singer, and the black stole the show. He got it. Excellent proformace.

I was super into Snail Mail in 2018-2019 and I was anticipating a much bigger future. Nostalgia is remembering your hopes and dreams from a former time. The feelings conjured then are still valid and that's the play nostalgia leverages. It still is so powerful. I remember I think it was a feature on Vice News that blew me away (100% a 2018-2019 throwback)
