And having had to outwit similar lunatics myself, I've become convinced that anyone wanting to be in control of something weighing an average of 2.5t, and capable of going over 100mph, should be compelled to pay for a mental health assessment as part of the driving test.

Unnecessary horn and flash, the guy knew you were there, as proved in the vid by his rapid turn. He was a complete moron obviously, I hope you learn a lesson from this. Use of the horn unnecessarily (warning of your presence when he already knew you were there) and flashing (not illegal but against the Highway Code) can get you into a heap of problems. The guy was obviously unhinged but you provoked a reaction and boy did you get one.

Had a lowlife follow me the other day, after a minor incident where nobody was hit or any damage done. As I thought we both brushed it off, noticed the guy started to follow me. As this was my first serious experience with a road rager, was nervous and started to panic a bit when he tried stop me by cutting me off in front, in a school zone. Managed to maneuver past him and outrun him in dense traffic thanks to my hothatch, and another driver in the opposite direction who noticed what that crazy individual did, slowed down to let me through. After I lost him, circled around the city to avoid seeing him again and safely arrived home after a while. These types of individuals are dangerous and should not be anywhere near a motor vehicle.

Sadly, there are quite a few mentally unstable "men" like that on our roads. Having driven buses and coaches on the roads, I learned to just let irritations go straight over my head. He has not learned that! He's one who cannot accept that HE was in the wrong! He isn't a real man.

I have just watched this video, now think in those 9 minutes that man could have done serious injury to you had he blocked you in so you could not get out. You broke the law to stop him following you. What was he on Drugs? just had a huge row with some causing him to be very angry? or some thing else, and you added to him insane feelings.
