The beauty of Crete is that even though there are touristy areas the island still retains its “ Greekness”. The culture,the food, the beautiful people, scenery are second to none.

Guten Tag . Thanks for letting us come along on your trip to NYC ! I grew up in this area so I had to see what places you decided to visit. Right now I am not living there but I will eventually return so also I am always a little homesick for the city. While we all know NY is not a perfect city it is always infinitely fascinating if you are in love of history, culture , food , architecture, music and people. If you know where to look beyond the tourist spots you will find the whole of the earths people have found a home in NY. Bitte kommen Sie öfters zurück.

The only reason to take the ferry is because it is free. Yes it is a nice ride , especially on a hot day. However other than going by the Statue of liberty there is not so much to see. It is up to you how interesting immigration story is to you. As an american of course we are mostly all immigrants so we want to go see it. As a European though maybe you don't care so much about it.
