It would have been nice to see this all finished lying flat and a demonstration as to how to put it on to get it to look like this.

Practice with an old one then you don't have to worry. If it turns out bad you can just sleep in it.

I just bought this pattern. Gonna use it as a bag to keep my supplies to start IV’s in. I’m gonna modify the interior panels with divider pockets to keep things in! So excited and thank you for the great video and affordable pattern!!

Where's the boning?

The seams are acting as boning. But the denim is probably not the most comfortable corset material so you could probably add boning if you put in a lining material

Bigger jeans that are meant for larger hipped people. Then adjust accordingly by adding support. They're clothes. They're meant to fit you, which means you could add or remove anything

I feel like I can't be the only one pointing that out but you say 1/4'' SA and what you do is about a 3/8'' SA (I have the exact same machine so I could tell from the video, your fabric is right at the edge of the pressing feet). I got the pattern, followed it thoroughly and my M/S size bucket hat has around 26'' circumference (no biggie, I'll find a big-headed friend and offer it for his birthday). But is it just me? Or am I missing something? Always happy to improve :)

Don't know if anyone else has suggested this but... I've found when securing straps that basting tape works wonders - no pins required if you use that. Just a thought. I will be making some of these totes as my next project. Also you should NEVER sew over pins.

I know. It's ok for a miniskirt. But with a long skirt you need a second pair for more matching material.

For anyone looking for a "dethreader", it's called a seam ripper. You're seam ripping, not "dethreading".

Omg I've been searching for weeks for a pattern or instructions for how to make something EXACTLY like this, the best I had dared to hope for was something vaguely similar enough that I could modify it to be how I want it but this is 100% it! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! You're seriously my freakin hero 💖

FYI there is an error in your pattern pieces. The yoke piece says to only cut 1 cut you are using two in this video!
