You prefer the short config? How much difference between the full and short?

I do just becuase its so short. Remember it is all about the set up. Some pistols and or PCC can sound diff because of barrel length and the set up. Say like an AR platform style can be slightly more sound as you will hear more port noise due to the BCG moving and slapping. You can tell the diff between long and short slightly. Long is better for sure most of the time.

I used the Vortex Med rings and mounts always. Warren also makes good stuff for that.

I have the .350 legend and it is a same hole gone. It doesn't appear to matter what ammo you put through it. I've used two different loads, both same hole. All the other KZbin reviews I've seen were pretty much same hole shots with different ammo. But, all though the mag is nice like that, I repeatedly have chambering issues. They even sent me another mag and still the same issue. I know this is an old post but if anyone has a fix for this id appreciate the info. Everything else with this gone is so good that I still love it despite the chambering issue. Also, have a vortex scope on it was actually cheaper than I originally planned on a scope and it was a pleasant money save. Sub MOA is an understatement, it is an absolute tack driver

Dumb question but have you made sure your bottom bedding screw is tight so the mag fits well? May call them to see if you can send it in for a look over. They have great CS

@@civilizedsavage33 I don't think that's a dumb question, because I haven't. I'll see what's up with it and try it out tomorrow. I've asked several people and a lot have replied that they have the same issue. I'm guessing it's caliber related. I love dumb questions, they usually provide some thought on something I haven't thought about.

And I I've already experienced the CS, they are very polite and prompt. They had the new mag to me in 3 days. I'm gonna check this and if it doesn't work I'll ask them to take a look at it. I have quite a few sub MOAs of different calibers and styles but this sucker is as good as my precision air rifles. I hate to even say that because until this my old .243 Mossberg has been the best shooting gun I've ever touched.

This can is amazing. It will be very very close to Wolfman but not quieter. This is just really light weight as it’s titanium and smaller in diameter

I have a Nomad TI on my Sig Cross and Ruger 6.5 with short action barrels. I have a Ruger 7mm long action I would like to put it on. How does it feel running that can on your long action rifle? For hunting it seems to be really long. Thanks

You know I run nomad on ALL my hunting rifles. 6.5. 6.5 prc and 300 win and 300prc. All sound. Great and reduces recoil well. Slightly long on some long barrels but that’s just how it is. I guess depends on your hunting set up. Stalking ? Blind ? Box blind? Ladder ? Right. But love the results all the way around.

That's what I figured. The 7mm isn't going into dense timber, pretty much open plains gun here in Idaho. The Cross is the tight timber rifle then. Thanks for the reply!

Yea depends on ammo and set up like barrel length buffer weight etc. it’s def not made to be super quiet like Wolfman or nomad for sure. It’s a fighting can for sure with a very tight application.

Well, it's almost a toss up on some cals and preference. Here are mine. 6.5 has been around an long long time it was just not called the 6.5 Creedmore. It works on almost any animal in North America. Great for Deer, Mule deer and ELK. It's more about the ammo and the shooter capabilities. 308 has always been a favorite because it's 30 cal, lots of ammo options and I shot it in sniper school so I loved that round. It does it all and more. 6.5 actually performs slightly better at longer ranges is all. 7mm08 is great also. Little more recoil than 6.5 but still great. Picking between these two would be hard. . MY OPINION from my past experience only.

How does the stock feel compared to the bergara? It looks like a cheap Ruger American stock. Is it nicer than that?

It’s awesome. Def not cheap at all. Feels great to the touch no matter what time of year. When practicing in texas on hot days or snow days on colorado it’s perfect. Love the CVA stock feel for sure over high dollar rifles for sure.

So depends on the host. Wolfman has a lot of volume as it's slightly larger. It's hard to beat Wolfman. BUT, its way smaller and lighter as its 3d printed Titanium. SO in a small package its right with the Wolfman.

Thinking about pairing this with a POF Revolution 308 14.5" short stroke piston system, it's 5 position adjustable so I know I can do some tuning. Per pew science this is the highest back pressure 308 can they've tested to date How's the gas to the face on the Nomad L on a semi auto platform?

The sandman L and Nomad L are great for back pressure. I like the Nomad and sandman with e brake best on all 308 guns no matter bolt or gas guns. The Nomad L did great with the back pressure and hardly any gas in the face at all. But not sure on your length set up

You will be fine with a piston gun and adjustable gas block, im sure the lowest gas setting will be overkill, should be able to tune it perfectly.

I love running the Ebrake on all mine. Especially on larger cal like 30 or even 6.5. It takes off a pretty good bit of recoil and muzzle rise. Also will Make a nicer tone. Ar platforms are slightly less than bolt though.

We don’t recommend that on any rimfire cam because 22 is so unreliable Keep rimfire to rimfire cans.

I was curious how much recoil that 300 win mag had with that muzzle break that comes on the new cva cascade xt. What would you compare the recoil to? I own a 6.5 creedmoor, a 30-06 and a 7 mag and the recoil doesn’t bother me on any of them.

Probably would be very close to the 6.5 or 30-06. The brake actually works well. I took it off to test. But I mostly shoot suppressed so. It does take a lot out. Never an issue.u 6.5 cascade also shoots great with that brake.

Elk and (moose if that ever happens). Elk hunting is a definite on will be going on another if those. I don’t trust my 6.5 creedmoor to take on that expensive of a hunt. I want to know that what I’m packing has plenty of authority.
