My Dad, John Norris who passed away in 2021, retired from Manitowoc (Shady Grove). He started off as a crane mechanic and worked in Crane Care. Everytime I see a crane, I think of my father. I miss him.

In Indiana just off I-69 near a small town of Reynolds is a wind farm with at least a thousand turbines (no shit, maybe even more, I lost count) They had one of these on-site (I think it was, sure looked like it) and every once in a while I would stop and watch them work. It is really crazy how accurate and how fast they can erect a wind turbine.
