@@Jesusisking2357age has nothing to do with your average. I'm over 60 and my average is 212. 145 is a great start, and you can improve very quickly by just making some of those easy spares. There's not much you can do about splits but pick up as many pins as you can. Every pin counts at the end of the gm, for your average and team. Good luck my friend.

Don’t start thinking about a 300 until you’re done with frame 9 only then should it hit you. I recently shot 299 and I drowned out any noise or thoughts about the game and made 1 shot after the other. When you next bowl focus on the steps leading up to that strike and repeat the exact same method.

The main reason I wear headphones with music to drown out annoying people yelling out while in your backswing on the approach. Some do it on purpose which really sucks

Martywood, you are so right, people will do that. I use to practice around kids and their parties because they're so loud and unpredictable. If I could stay focused around all that then regular league noise wouldn't bother me. If you get a chance, you should try it. It might help your focus.

Oh man, do I know THIS problem .. LOL .. for a long time I was stuck on the front 6 .. just could not get past it. Many times I was able to get the front 6 but for some reason, a 6 bagger is all I could ever do. I finally made it to 7, but I have not yet made it past 7. Still working on it. I think I am doing alright though, for an old guy who has only been bowling 1 1/2 yrs. Best of luck to you and I hope you get a nice 300 game next time out. You can do it if you don't think about it. I think our brains are usually our biggest obstacle to overcome. Have a Happy New Year and a great 2024 !!!

Bowling on the easiest house pattern in the world like this will never improve your ability to adjust to burn and harder patterns. People bowling 300s on these think they're a pro all of a sudden. 😂😂

Stand like 2-3 boards to the left and I guarantee you will hit your pocket just right. When the ball is going too far left, go left, if it’s hitting to far right, go right. I mean when you are standing to line up your shot before your approach. You are going Brooklyn a lot, standing more left and it will be a lot easier to strike man. Keep up the work. Looks good
