Very true what some people are saying about AYR. , Holiday time I enjoy in this areas nice pleasant individual peoples make me feel so welcome, them tragic I decide to purchase a apartment for a future second home Holiday myself and my children's, I was trusting in good face with the distance any solicitors and the BELMOND PROPERTY AGENT AYR..Particular this little mind crook Barry Kerr so proud who Scam me of £ 2,500 was a shock to myself and to so many as with the distance I have to trust and was hard finding the right trusting Solicitor unknown to me how difficult would be of such small purchase so this crook BELMOND Property take advantage and con me, happily my story end in Glasgow one Lady contact me take my case as she investigate was so shock even refund £ 2,500 as she feel a shame what some little mind peoples would do to scam another, also invite me in Glasgow in 2025 to arrange a meeting not to turn the back in AYR. because some unscrupulous crook looks for another place and has a happy Family life in AYR. also learning on my side not to trust anyone in AYR who are open to abuse and get away without a scratch, but getting advice first to learn about these areas .. I like AYR. I like people but warning is given to us carefully above any situation ..???Thank you to Glasgow, Thank you to this Lady and thank you for all Warning, small towns are pleasant but could be surrendered with few poisoned little minded peoples around like everywhere...so we decide to look for another eventual Purchase with the right trusting Solicitor now who apologize and to make sure would be safe this time and avoid some unscrupulous Agent never given any advance...???

The architecture of this town is quintessentially Breton: dark granite stone structures, the oldest houses often being half-timbered, with high-pitched slate roofs. You can't confuse the look with French Flanders, Alsace, Provence, the French Basque Country, the Bordelais or Toulousain regions, or even Normandy. It screams Brittany. I love the marked regionalism in France's architecture, especially along the edges of the country.

Its a nice town for its archtitecture etc but its shops are like most of the UK and plastic fronted and with a lot of charity stores , and closed premises . It has a sad tired look about it and needs reviving . I bet it was really lovely back in the 1940s ,50s and 60s. But modern chain store and online shopping has killed it.

The narrator should come to kirkcaldy ,plenty to see here ,lovely beach n prom ,parks ,and museums ,we welcome you with open arms 😂

I worked at the old County Hotel Wellington Square 1976-1978 loved Ayr loved the area have revisited many times and brought both my daughters there for a holiday. The summers were especially fantastic memories hope it gets back to its glory days.
