Have u done EL lights in the doors in this vehicle yet? I have a 2013 that I want to do that to. I want them to come on with my park lights, but be able to turn them off with a rocker switch..

dont do this, when u place cold drinks, water from outside bottle will start to drip into cupholder and since theres a hole, its gonna go straight to electrinics. god forbid u leave fastfood cup for few days and bottom breaks, guess where all the water is going

Please guys surround those areas with some blue painters tape to avoid fukg up the trim pieces when doing this. Personally this is just too much bullshit for a set of led’s that no one will see except for you. Nice video and great 👍🏻 job tho.

I just bought a 2013 Sonata Turbo Limited and this mod looks really cool. Does the cupholder brightness adjust up and down along with the dashboard brightness control, or is the cupholder just one brightness level?

So the blue wire that you're taping into...that's a switched power source yes? I'm guessing it controls the lighting for the text on the USB connector, and is switched on when you turn the car''s parking or head lights on, correct?

Joe, according to every picture I look at the 2013 Sonata is built in the same way. It is a little tricky, but starting with those edges is the way to do it, a plastic pry tool may help.

the side panels at the beginning dont come off like that on the 2013 Sonata, how do they come off?

I have done this mod in my 2011 sonata and it is as beautiful as it is easy to install. I lost my 2011 during hurricane sandy and bought a 2013 sonata turbo and will be doing this mod again.
