The refutation of the thais that they should not become christian and remain thais is ridiculous because even Buddha wasnt a thais. Secondly Christ belong to all creation and his disciple ministries Africa, Middle before Europe

This man was a coward when the world war 2 broke out. It was not his faith that saved the world from evil, but those who were willing to fight and die, to lay down their lives for their friends, not engage in this sort of garbage. Evangelicals are great on talk, talk, talk, and appeal to those who have in the UK and those who have not in many other places. Their god is doing nothing in Sudan, Ukraine, China.Nothing, toning, nothing in any of this.

Honest question here. Did Jesus do expositional teaching/preaching? Did Charles Spurgeon? Reading men during the great awakening and their sermons it doesn't seem like they did expositional teaching either? It seems like their messages were directed by whatever the Spirit laid on their heart. They would take one verse and expound upon it but I didn't see them going through the Bible verse by verse rather everything centered around the gospel and speaking under the influence of the Spirit and whatever spiritual verse/teaching He put on their hearts. I think expositional teaching is good but I was just thinking that I don't see Jesus, The Apostles or some of the great men of the past going through say a book verse by verse. It rather seems like the gospel message and story was the focus and center and they would pull many verses from all over the Bible. For instance I have an 1840 copy of Village Discourses by John Cennick, a great awakening Calvinist Methodist, and he would simply choose one verse and relate it to the gospel and then choose another verse from another place in scripture and do the same. Speaking on not mixing two types of fabric on ones garment he draw a parallel between mixing the covenant of our own works with the garment of Christs righteousness which is prohibited and no gospel at all. It seems like the gospel story and message was the focus rather then an academic breakdown of the text verse by verse. Again not saying that is bad but was just wondering why expositional teaching wasn't used more Jesus, His Apostles and even men of the past like George Whitefield, John Wesley, Charles Spurgeon etc. Anyways, hope you have a blessed day!

And maybe I'm not understanding what expositional preaching is. I'm not seminarian like Stott or many of you seasoned shepards on here. Just a question I ask :)

Jesus said go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. I belong to a Soul winning church the only one in the UK going door to door giving people the Gospel straight from Gods word the KJV. The result is 2600 saved sould in 3years . Most churches dont preach or believe the gospel written in Gods word because they listen to false teachers speaking lie and heresies. This is the Good News and you cant earn it because its a Free Gift. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3nKfadootSenbMsi=NNZgBIB92drFf3Jk

The Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19) We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that Yahweh spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). Yahweh did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name Yahweh but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! “Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” Some people say that they are watching all the time but they overlook verse 38. “And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.” (Luke 12:37-38). Under normal circumstances people are sound asleep during the second and third watch. Therefore Luke 12 is not talking about watching in a figurative way. The LORD is talking of a literal watch. There are appointed times in the scriptures for us to fulfill a literal watch. In fact, all of the appointed times of holy convocations (moedim) listed in Leviticus 23 are watches and vigils of Yahweh. Each one of them are fulfilled by both an Old Testament and corresponding New Testament historical event. In other words they will be assembled together in a holy convocation and not out and about driving cars and flying airplanes. Like the 120 were assembled in the upper room Acts chapter 2 for the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Unfortunately, because of a man-made ecclesiastical calendar many will not be watching at the appointed time when He comes.

We are only called to preach what Jesus preached nothing else nothing more! But most of the time preachers preach anything but what Jesus said which is a accursed situation for the church.

In the U.S. freedom of religion is protected by the 1st amendment of the U.S. Constitution and also under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. If they want to make laws to ban the practice of faith here, then they will have to ban the practice of all religious faiths that pray. Christians alone in the U.S. make up millions of people. If they arrest and charge all of us then they will have to build internment camps and make a 10x increase of our court system. I dont see that happening here. Now in other Western nations, with weak individual free protections, possibly. I love the Lord Jesus Christ, and I love preaching God's Word. I am NOT going to stop, I don't care what laws they put on the books. We have a very lost generation, and many people need to accept Jesus Christ before He comes back. That's more important to me than any man's law!!

My question is why would an Evangelical Christian want to write a commentary on the Bible that includes both Catholic and Eastern Orthodoxy given the three are at odds with one another in Doctrine and Theology?

Advice for Preachers... The individual who has put his trust in Jesus Christ as his Savior is in personal fellowship with Him all the time. Jeremiah 23:23 The problem with God is not that He's so far away that we can't see Him. Rather, He is so close that we overlook Him. That means, you can have an Conversation with GOD anytime anywhere . The eternal purpose of God in Jesus Christ is to give us this new relationship with God (John 3:16; 6:37, 39; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21). 1Corinthians 3:16-20 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. Not only will you need this information for yourself, but you will want to share this with others Who To Believe, GOD or Your Preacher ?
