Be wary of switching stances too much, especially while square, as it will make it harder to throw jabs or straights and the constant shifting of feet leaves a lot of moments where they aren’t settled and ready to work at any moment. The squared-up switching did help get the head out of the way and set up some hooks, but use it sparingly rather than as a base. This is especially true under the context of the competition, where they’re likely scoring clean, textbook boxing with a high volume of straights and linear movement over a more unorthodox style that prioritizes hooking after getting the head off-line.

2:06 switch stance jab, but should follow up a 4+ piece combo 2:23 clean hook+cross, but need to add 2 more punches to get him to shell up 2:36 switch stance jab, but should follow up a 4+ piece combo 3:05 should do rolls to get angles and fire, shooting in gets us stuck, and if we get stuck it is harder to find shots 3:14 clean 1-2, but rear foot comes off the ground, if it didn't, you could have added a 1-1-2 combo 3:33 good bodies 3:38 even though the round ended there, your switch stance jab landed but should follow up with a 4+ piece combo

nice. Bad coach = "forget everything else you've learned, what I am teaching you is the right way. Do not practice my techniques in other gyms and you are discouraged from creativity" ==> Good Coach = "the technique (x) you've learned are good, but this is how I perform my (x) technique to still achieve (y), and conceptually this is why"
