Unfortunately that won’t work. Pocket 3 has a different remote. This remote only works with 4 and 5pro.

Yeah the camera is very basic but for its price flying camera that tracks this good is a great bargain. Hopefully next iteration will have better sensor and RemoteID.

Unfortunately not. I’m not sure why they don’t add it but it’s such a simple thing to add. And a viable option with high capacity batteries.

Since Chigee doesn’t have sound capability, you would need to activate Siri from your comm device. I use Cardo so I say “hey siri” and it just works.

It is useful for some use cases, like mine, in driving, 1 camera is mounted as a dash cam, another is facing toward my face. Too bad, I have 1 OA4 and 1 GoPro 11. :3

100% agreed. I loved GoPro remotes with multi cam control. Only switched to DJI because of faster boot time and reliability. Otherwise I would’ve still been using GoPros.

I live in a very hot climate. I have found only the Garmin Zumo XT series to not shut off in the summer heat of direct sunlight.. Will this stay turned on in the hot direct sun like we have in Arizona?

Hello! I have not used it in extreme heat but have used it in the summer here in New York without issue. It doesn’t really get that hot while using. The device has good heatsink behind. Not sure if this helps your case though. Many reviews mention that their customer service is great.

Next time use a little glue on the tip. All my vehicles have a small kit in there trunk must gave the glue too. Bike should be as well. I have been in the middle of the highway and portable pump.

No, unfortunately BMW Motorrad app doesn’t support CarPlay. BMW will have to update it to allow on CarPlay.

If you trade in you can save tax but you need to negotiate better. If you list it you can still get a good deal. Unfortunately you will generally see some loss selling a motorcycle early with low miles. Also any accessories are worthless when selling early too. Sorry man. May I ask why do you want to sell?

Simply install a 512Gb sd and keep recording. Overwrite or delete what you don't want (run a cable to a powerbank and ride all day). Or remember to hit record every 25mins and then stop recording. The 1/2hr interval is ongoing from that point. I cycle sometimes 6hrs ongoing with two Osmos recording. Overheating issues are minimised by removing the batteries. Each camera is powered by it's own powerbank. I use voice to start stop recording only at the beginning and end of each ride. Both cameras start and stop in unison. The issue is, with voice, I have to talk very loudly, often yell and I have to direct my voice to both cameras and be close to them both. These are Gen one cameras mounted waist high on my bicycle and often I have to repeat the request. Just for the on/off button alone I'm grateful for the remote. The GPS overlays are a bonus. Knowing DJI they'll fix the GPS connectivity issues soon enough (fingers crossed). I hope this helps. eGaz

That’s one way to do it. For now I’m resorting to just using the remote every 20-25 mins. That keeps it going for whole day. Just sifting through videos gets annoying 😁

@gregmatty6393 yea crashbars installation is not that bad. With help of a friend maybe 45min-1hr installation time. You have to take panels off so a lot of screws to work on 😁

I'm thinking that the reason the remote shuts down the Bluetooth connection after 30 minutes, is to conserve the battery life on the remote. As others have suggested, a simple fix would be, to simply reestablish the connection briefly between the remote and the camera, sometime before it hits the 30-minute time limit.

You are right. It’s to conserve battery. One can turn on the car every 30 mins to keep the connection alive. I just wish they let users control the idle duration. I always carry the battery case with me and wouldn’t mind draining more juice with 2 hr idle connection time.

Thank you! 😊 I used to use Apple Music. It shows all playlists and songs on the display. Sorry never used Spotify so not sure if all functions can be controlled via TFT. At least I don’t see that now for YT music.

It is actually good. The heat comes right through. Used it in lower 40F at highway speeds. Had grip heat on medium setting. No issues.

Hi, thanks for your review! A question for you: is it possible to connect to Chigee and record the ride using the BMW Motorrad Connect app? In short, is it possible to connect the BMW app to the motorcycle and use Chigee at the same time? If Chigee records the rides, that might also be ok, but I haven't found this answer anywhere.

Yes you can absolutely record rides on BMW app. Just make sure your app is open. You can tell if app is working in background if the motorcycle display shows speed limit.
