Good day Daniel. Can you tell me how many hours it took to build the Trika 540-2 ? The plans say 150hrs... that sounds like a lot. thx- Burk

Cuanto salio en material??
@caselli-danielАй бұрын

Really like the looks/ style of these tri's. Just now got my Ply in my shop. Now ready for starting construction on the TriRaid 560 version. I believe it's a little deeper hull than the 540 and a little longer. Excited to have it finished and sailing.
@caselli-daniel2 ай бұрын
Congratulations! The deeper hull is important, in order to be able to navigate with slightly higher waves. Good luck in the construction. Please keep me posted. Greetings from the south.

@@caselli-daniel You-bet-cha! Just now trying to figure out some cool scarf joints. Was thinking of how best to do a nice fine saw tooth pattern. But getting the spacing accurate and keeping away from ply tear-outs. Might be very challenging on such thin ply. Thinking of a 3D printing guide. But then, which cutting tool would work best. Now that's a very big question. All fun and challenging though! 👍

@caselli-daniel3 ай бұрын

Which bota do you like more - the Eureka or the Trika?
@caselli-daniel Жыл бұрын
Different boats. The Trika is safer and more seaworthy. It has the jib, essential for speed and turning comfortably. The Eureka canoe is very good on rivers and lakes, but it does not have an electric motor installed, like the Trika.
