Its very similar to muscle building. You can only train your body for so long before it begins to be detrimental, so you rest and allow your muscles to recover and become stronger. Your CNS also retains that memory to work harder the next time, so it makes sense the brain would follow a similar process.

I am 62 years old. I do a daily training with weights where army, twops, triceps, shoulders, I make funds and squats and I walk about 2 to 3 km per day. But I do not take nigun supplement, creatine could help me increase my muscle mass? But I would like to increase my muscle mass that I can't increase. And aotra question. If I wanted to add any furza training as explained here, exercises of 3 to 5 repetitions with greater weight, could it do so for example 2 days a week and the rest safely doing it as until now? Thank you so much

Doing a little bit of high intensity not to failure every day gave me more strength. Not even high intensity actually just heavy and steady, focusing on mental aspect, coordination and control, real light work actually, but everyday, and endurance separately

Just to make sure I get this right: You got your B.A in neurobiology and behavior. You then got your ph.D in neuroscience, with a focus on neural activity and brain plasticity. Then you decided to go into visual systems. And now you’re talking about toothpaste? How about you focus on your shit, Sir. What the hell is up with all these goddamn dr. Oz people. We have fucking chiropractors pretending to be real doctors, talking about advanced medical field shit as if they’re not joint-cracking cooks, and we’ve got a neuroscientist talking about toothpaste. How about people stay within their field of motherf*cking expertise. This is ridiculous.

Definitely don't need 10 sets per body part a week. Absolutely not. Thats called overtraining and reduce your gains if you do that much. 6 sets per week is all you need and you'll notice the increased gains if you give your muscles enough time to rest and repair between those 6 sets. Don't do 10 sets.

Don’t listen to this, use good toothpaste. Don’t fuck around and experiment on your teeth and go to the dentist every 4 to 6 months and take their advice. Bad oral hygiene will destroy your health long term.

I've always been lazy when it comes to brushing my teeth (to put it mildly). I used to feel like my teeth were very wobbly and was kinda afraid I that they might easily break or fall out. Then I started drinking raw milk (~1L per day) and my gum and teeth seem as strong as they could ever be.

Lift weights 4x a wk , hit every body part 2x a wk . Use any split. Add in a few more sets for lagging parts. Lift close to failure and always add weight or rep whenever you can. Preferably every week. Get great at the basic compound exercises. Get enough cals and protein and you will grow. No matter what age. You'll grow. Its not hard in theory. If you want it bad enough you'll do it. ..all this BS about exercise order is BS. Rest 2-3 min for bigger muscles , 1-2 for smaller. That's it.

I have mixed feelings about your video... So... Not sure what you wanted to say about fluoride? In no case this compound should be present in your mouth and used for mouth health. It is toxic to your body and destructive to the whole microbiome. What have you said about peroxide? Its abrasive? Peroxide in small quantities is a big helper for mouth health. It helps to destroy biofilms and all unfriendly bacteria under them. Besides it helps with healing swollen gums, bleeding, micro cuts from tooth brush mechanical action. "Acid drinks" are very generalized assumption to put them on "dark side". Lemon water is very healthy and will not affect your mouth health. The real problem is bioerrosion. Its bacterial, very localized action on tooth enamel by acidic metabolites of those bacteria's. Its mainly happening inside compromised, demineralized tooth tubulars. Rinsing advises are indeed good. What is important is ioniq health inside your mouth. Buy cheap electrolytes powder and wash and rinse with it. You can also swallow it ;))
