Where did you get the wing from ?

I went thru all the same steps on $1000 Hella headlights for my VW GTI mk3, my Lexus gs400, and my B13 SE-R. Most headlight housings are like this, some you can take apart my putting them in the oven and slowly heat em up till the glue melts and the housings come apart. When you do that peel off all the old glue while you can. Some headlights have internal ballast or auto leveling systems so be really careful and closely study the headlight and its features. When you cut housings you are taking off material (shavings) so when you reassemble them they don't fit together perfectly so sometimes it's better to crack them open like an egg. But the method in your video was smart, never tried that. I'm assuming it's a soldering iron with a chisel blade.... Great video man thank you

try black shoe polish or black interior paint

if you have stock screw/bolting points underneath just put some screws in so when you do scrape a kerb or whatever it doesnt rip it all off.

When you paint it first put Liz 4 or 5 coatings of the first paint you're gonna put on there and then put the clear coat on top So if it ever mess up again with that enough coating you can able pill off that paint that's what I did with my Batmobile And I found out if you do a first coat of paint on top of it first then let that paint dry and if it has some too much bubbles or too much orange pill You just sent it down as long as you don't get to that paint
