Rikka is easily top 5 strongest end boards of ALL yugioh decks ever created. However, its getting to that end board that is difficult. Because if you screw up on utilizing the space on your board properly, use certain cards too early in the combo which can lock you out from using other cards, or get interrupted even once at one of the few crucial points in your combo.... you can be left with a very underwhelming end board. It wouldn't be defenseless, but you could have gone from being capable of 7 negates to like 2. Even worse... if your opponent somehow breaks your end board.... kaiju's being the easiest way.... then you would have burned through pretty much ALL of your deck's resources.... which means making a comeback is very unlikely.

if you have purrelyeap!? in the fields 1. if you want to draw as many cards as possible,in order to have enough handtraps in hand change beauty to noir 2. If you want to maximize what's on the field, use the negate of beauty first before summon noir 3. You can also wait using pureyeap!? to avoid banishment or something like that 4. IMO Noir is better than beauty, so dont miss the chance to summon it :D some tips 1. If possible, protect My Friend Purely using Happy Memory, 2. In some cases you can set Sleepy Memory as Quick play spell on field as a backup if you don't have anything, so you don't take damage on that turn

What do u do if your opponent negates the first one or two cards to put down?
@Tcatts_UnexpectedDai Жыл бұрын
I've just got into the rikka sunavalon deck as well and tbh in any deck if ur opponent completely cut off ur starter it would be an automatic scoop the deck does have lots of starter like loci, lonefire, unexpected dai, one for one, and sunvine sowing with any 4 or lower plant monster and most of the time u only one of them to go through to have full combo
@etherious_natsu_d2958 Жыл бұрын
1. You just have to have understand the recursion of the Rikka Deck to play through certain hand traps 2. The Deck itself has a good recovery from getting handtrapped Lets say they negate Unexpected Dai for Example thats fine Because any plant monster you summon can search out other cards from the deck due to your Extra Deck monsters effect you want your opponent to waste resources thats how you win duels losing 2 cards wont actually hurt you if you know what you are doing correctly Not everyone understands a deck they just learn from the start and how to play it but if you watch guide videos and play against them it will give you a better understanding of the deck itself whats the consistency and how it is used during any duel and any situation your put through
@etherious_natsu_d2958 Жыл бұрын
@@Tcatts_UnexpectedDai Normally any starter card they negate would be a an automatic ish scoop but in reality it really depends on the deck your playing with honestly and most decks nowadays actually have good recovery from getting handtrapped you just have to play your cards right in order to actually make decent or Strong plays Rikka Sunavalon is a strong deck the fact they can play through any hand traps is nasty only side issue is that they lose to Drolled & Lock Bird if you go 1st Because the Rikka's main play is searching and i mean it searches ALOT The deck does have alot of starters and thats why it can doo soo much understand major situations Your Goal is to force your opponent to waste resources remember what you said when you mentioned the listed starter cards any of those that gets activated your able to go Full Combo Doesnt matter if you get handtrapped they still cant do shit to stop you from going off and winning the Duel if your going First or Second Heres a Tip If you Go First Create a Decent or strong board But remember the deck loses to DRNM and Evenly Matched so be prepared when that shit happens to you And have the back up resources in your hand to stop them from creating strong boards to wipe you out on their turn If you go Second Use your resources wisely if you are able to commit a Full on play on your turn and win the duel Do it don't hold back Just remember what i said earlier Rikka Sunavalon Has good recovery so any card that gets hand trapped you can still go off But it still Loses to DRNM and Evenly Matched

@@etherious_natsu_d2958 very true but what if they got a second negate? Or if they went first and now have a whole field of monsters that can each negate or remove a card or some other effect. I mean I understand that it happens and sometimes there’s not much u can do, but boy is it tough lol. I’ll definitely try to look at some videos that go on about what you mentioned tho. If u got any video recommendations, I’m all ears. Thanks.

@@zeroviews1184 So in all aspects of any duel. You Will always run into a lot of opponents that will always have a second negate card to back up the 1st one if the 1st one fails initially Also I can definitely agree with you 100% that there are times where you can and can't do much and that's how it is, it is tough but do the best you can do to win that duel if possible sometimes you win some sometimes you lose some and thats normal for everyone Heres a Tip Watch back all your matches or remember them and understand ok what did you do wrong? 1. Did you activate the wrong card to play? 2. Did you make a misplay? 3. Did you worry that you aren't able to full combo either Turn 1 or Turn 2? 4. Did you not play enough handtraps? 5. Do you think that your opponent doesn't have enough cards to stop you from going off? 6. Where did you negate wrong? Its all about key timing when it comes to using your Hand Traps or any card you use in during your duel Your Main Goal is to just practice practice against a lot of different decks and see where you stand as a duelist and start picking up decks that have good consistency and Recovery Don't pick up a deck that has alot of recursion because if you do its Harder for you as a player to make a comeback honestly Now lets say they do end up using that second card to negate a card you are activating whether its a monster effect in hand or a Spell Card doesn't matter what that card is just know their aiming to negate it to stop you from creating a Decent or Nasty board for Negates, return back to hand etc etc Your job is to outsmart and be one step ahead of your opponent there are times where you overthink your plays and that's happened a lot to everyone so you aren't the only one here just know if that happens stop and think before you make your next move you don't want to Stall Very hard just enough for you to make a play As a Duelist Player Your goal is to "BAIT" your opponent into wasting their negation card on a useless card you are activating from hand or field by doing so you got them to waste 2 resource cards for the price of 2 cards where if one card in hand got negated and a monster on the field got negated your free to link the monster on the field off for another card that allows you to search a card from deck to hand and continue the combo which is pretty much like the saying "I've Killed Two Birds With One Stone" if they don't have any responses left to stop you from going off Don't Hold Back GO All out and win the duel

Every other Hand trap it plays through them REALLY EASILY! the Fact that Rikka KonKon is on the field makes the game over for them Rikka Sunavalon is a strong deck that can Go Either 1st or 2nd If you play your cards right you can win pretty much any duel honestly If you go 1st your goal is to create a Decent board so you dont get DRNM or Evenly Matched or both at the same time because all decks lose to it which is pretty standard to say the least But if you have ways to deal with it then good on ya mate but most decks dont carry cards to negate DRNM or Evenly Matched in the main deck usually the Side Deck if going 2nd for Round 2 of the match because the Main deck is usually Really tight on resources and focuses on consistent resource recovery If you go 2nd you better play your cards right to OTK if you wanna end the duel quick and Win If you cannot well its GG for you thats all I can tell ya and if you live then you better make a comeback and beat their ass 1. I have 1 bit if advice that might be useful to you. When going agaunst decks like branded, i like to let them activate their effects like branded fusion or fallen of albaz, just so they have to burn their resources, then activate d barrier. Otherwise if they know fusion summons are off limits theyll just save their cards for their next turn. Sometimes its smart to do it preemptively if you think theres a solemn judgment in play or an incoming synchro or xyz, but generally its best to wait

I like using Ciela and Azalea with Bystials, you can pair Ciela with them to make Rank 6s for graveyard manipulation and Zeus plays, and Chaos Angel with its full effects when using Roze as a tuner with Bystials. Snipe an EMZ monster with a sent Druiswurm or Chaos Angel, and Roze can come back out to negate another thing. Then you can Link into Zeke or Azalea whenever you're ready to go back into Striker engine and hit another card. H.A.M.P. is also an interesting dump option in Bystial builds, since you can dump it as fodder for one during the battle phase for a surprise attack. And sharing their 2500 statline means you can crash one into it evenly to get them off the field while getting its floating effect to destroy a card(make sure to CL2 H.A.M.P. when crashing into Druiswurm to avoid timing issues).

@MarioLopez-xs3vc Жыл бұрын
I think their effects are fine, the problem is the deck doesn't have the best options for getting them off the field right now, or a way to circumvent the restriction on spells. You can try Torrential Tribute for the time being, but there's a variant of Trap Trick that destroys a monster to set a trap that can be activated immediately that's going to be even better for that that should be coming out in the next few updates. You don't need that sort of consideration for Ciela though, so I think she's currently fine to use as a 1 of, which can be nice for getting over things like Nat beast or Spell Canceller.

Azalea is situational and she definitely doesn't suck, azalea needs dark or light and while it's true that bringing those with ssa is hard but you don't really have to since you have your tools in your deck: widow anchor, shark cannon, hornet drones and area zero. As a sky striker main i had many interactions in my deck using these spells because that's how ssa works it revolves around using your spells as board breakers. One more thing sky striker is a control + otk deck it is very versatile and can break boards by using your spells however it is very weak against floodgate and resource drain decks such as floo, dogmatika, kashtira and so much more that's why you need your staples such as red reboot, dark ruler no more, forbidden droplet, dark hole, harpie's feather duster and many more.
