I slept on a beach in Turkey,its was quiet,no one around so I listened to this for two hours,smoked a few,gazed at the moon then as I walked away I realised,there where lots of people there😂😂. Hope they enjoyed it

Outstanding and thank you for sharing all of these! I am always looking for the highest quality recordings, songs and albums that I grew up listening to, what seems like was most all of the time. I especially love that you are including whole albums or sides. I know it’s great when I can not stop listening until the very end of the album as with this great Supertramp LP. If there is any room for improvement, I would suggest attempting to soften the highs somehow to warmup the overall sound. I think this may happen when everything is so exceptionally clean and clear as you have it, that the highs can harden the overall sound, especially when the songs volume increases later on as in most songs. Thank you again for dong such a great job of making this happen and sharing it for everyone to greatly enjoy and benefit from!

This album always sounded TERRIFIC on vinyl... and terrible on CD, specially the original 1983 CD edition by Polydor, mastered from a damaged master tape. The definitive Universal remaster from 2016, supervised by Vangelis himself, was much better but it still had some awful digital glitches, Philippe Colonna must be probably one oif the worst mastering engineers in Eutope, his Vangelis remasters are absolutely dreadful, specially L'apocalypse des Animaux, Heaven and Hell, Spiral, Beaubourg and Antarctica.

I love how these videos do not have any crackle and pop. Despite spending a good bit on a quality stylus (Denon DL110), respectable turntable (Technics SL1200 Mk V) and careful handling, I struggle to keep my vinyl pop and click free for more and a few weeks if I play it regularly.
@hiresvinyl6 күн бұрын
Please note that the LPs are cleaned before playback and that any remaining crackling is carefully removed after recording with ‘Vinylstudio Pro’. 🤗🖖

@@hiresvinyl Vinyl studio pro? That's cheating 😋
@hiresvinyl5 күн бұрын
I wouldn't call it cheating as it is clearly stated in EVERY one of my video descriptions. 👍 For me, washing the records and removing the crackle is part of a good preparation so that the KZbin video can present the best possible vinyl sound. 😋🤗 Scratches and crackling have always been annoying and attempts have always been made to suppress them. In the past, of course, with running record brushes, or even wet playback... Nowadays, thank God, there are better methods... 👍😋
