I was there at that signing, in 1993, as well, in grad school at ASU ... met Mr Burke, he inscribed all my novels, even took a photo w me shaking hands! I'm looking at my copy of _Flags on the Bayou,_ as I type this. 🖋

Thank you for doing this! I really enjoyed listening to them and learning. Rebecca Thorne was one of my top favorite books I read this year. I now plan on buying The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst to read now that I know a bit more about the vibe of the book and about the author.

I totally get it. Though I did the opposite, I crochet less now, and read and walk more. I'd love to see some of your knitwear. My favorite book(s) this year: I Am Legend Uncle Tom's Cabin Kindred The Midnight Library Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine What Moves the Dead Do androids Dream of Electric Sheep I read the entire catalog of coauthors Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen and it's so hard picking just one as a favorite. I've had the BEST reading year.

Walter Mosley is one of my all-time favorite writers! Actually, in terms of current novelists, he and Don Winslow are tied as my favorites! Walter's style of writing is very fascinating, captivating, soulful, descriptive, thought-provoking, action-packed, intelligent, and violent when necessary. He also brings a very interesting perspective to his novels as a Black American man in American history, culture, and society. I'm nearly done with his new Easy Rawlins mysteries and it's great! I highly recommend it. I look forward to the release of all of his novels because he's easily one of the best writers in literary history.

I keep meaning to read Don Winslow. I need to go ahead and pick his work up, if you're putting him on the same shelf as Mosley

@BluGiant14 Please do! Don Winslow is a phenomenal writer! I highly recommend his trilogy starting with a novel called THE POWER OF THE DOG. I've read and own every novel that he's released beginning with another brilliant release called THE WINTER OF FRANKIE MACHINE. I own easily ten of his novels. If you like Mosley, then there's a great chance that you will appreciate Winslow!

Jack…. BIG fan of your Phillip Mercer series, spent 33 years working with a geologist/ hydrologist and a lot of what Phillip gets into technically attracted me to your series with him. It would be great to have him present in a couple more adventures. Just finished “The Heist” well done.

Started reading Toxic Prey. Could not finish. Although I have read almost all of the Prey series, the Letty Davenport series have been disappointing. Too politically correct with an unrealistic view of world order. DEI from John Sandford? Dumb.

Andrww Klavan, hearing your interest in the kind of characters you want to write about, I wonder if daily wire will ever want the movie rights to Mathew Cox's books. It would be so interesting to me to wee a series of criminals in prison and their life story, how they triumph over their human tendency towards pride, repeating patterns of the past, etc. I think it could be an excellent series if those wtories were told by Daily Wire as opposed to Hollywood who would try to make those story about racism instead of a story about humanity

The Comfort of Ghosts is quite a satisfying end to the Maisie Dobbs series. Regarding this video-and for future videos-please, please repeat the audience questions before answering them for those of us watching online. They’re ofherwise inaudible. Better yet, pass a mic around during Q&A time so that we can hear the questions as they’re asked.

The Last Murder at the End of the World was a superb read, I absolutely loved it. One Perfect Couple is such a great read that I couldn't put it down until finished. Please, as a fellow reader, I implore you to pick up both. I understand that One Perfect Couple made it to the NYT bestseller list. Well, both books belong there. Believe me. Both are so engrossing and just such a good time!
