Great interview and you asked very important questions. I’m looking into geothermal as a retrofit and actually have an appointment in two days with dandelion. So this was a nice surprise to find this Podcast.

Why so called experts constantly confuse ground based heat pump systems with geothermal. Ground based uses the constant heat you get when dig or drill shallow. The heat is mostly stored heat from the sun. You talk about ground based systems here. Geothermal means the heat radiating from the earth core, to harness that, you have to go deep. At least 400 m, most often several km.

I believe i found a piece of this meteorite event!!😃😃😃 I found it out in the mid center of the Mohawk River! The River was very dry and you could see bedrock run almost to the other side! Me being a amateur geologist knew anything heavy was going to be sitting there just waiting to be found! I have a video of when i found it, but at the time I was looking for rocks i could crush and when i found it, it was very heavy and didn't think nothing of it & just kept it moving! I have a video of it but i will make a updated version to show its properties! Its absolutely amazing! We have the same geological make up that they do on the east coast due to the tectonic organy! Our problem is overburden. Great Video!

BS, just got quoted $96,000 for a 3100 square foot new construction. If I want geothermal radiant heat, add another $44,000.

There's a paper out there that examines the Manhantango Formation's Centerfield Coral Reef (named by Bradford Willard in the 1930s) deposits in Pennsylvania as being not a bioherm, but actually a massive deposit of a tsunami event that churned up the mid-Devonian shallow sea floor. If the Panther Mt. impact event is of the same time as the Manhantango, could the Centerfield fossil deposit be the result of the Catskill impact?

so if it was a meteorite their would be a hole a lake not a mountain where water runing off the mountain ran into softer ground kept going around the mountain
