Cool that would look good mate, today I’ve been rubbing lacquer down and re-doing as it had a couple of runs. Work tomorrow then have a look on Saturday. Once it’s gone off I can fit mudguard and move on to wiring the indicators 👍

Good day I have a question about the Vixen. I have the Vixen long and am looking for an extended picatinny rail for under the Vixen. Now there's a curved short picatinny underneath and I'd like to put a longer picatinny underneath.

Ah ok right I’ll have a think about it as in work on nights. Should be able to come up with something a little interesting, as you probably know it just takes a time to get everything set up and process the footage.

Thank you for you comment I wasn’t going to as so many others have done similar but I will think about it. I want to get out and film some longer range shots showing the ballistic calculator and the grouping with the Agt Vixen as well. Kind regards Jon

Yeah ok, it sounds just as loud. With suppressor, and new shroud. A sound measure would be good.

Hi, I think you need to add more patches, I use 2 on .177 & 3 on .22 so it requires a bit of work to pull it through and thus it pushes part of the patch in to the rifleing to give it a good clean.

@@colinlofthouse373 hi Colin thanks for the comment/question. My vixen is over 2 years old and I’ve heard that the new vixen shroud has had thread lock applied to the shroud. You should be able to unscrew the shroud by applying pressure anti clockwise until the thread lock seal is broken. I’d maybe try a little heat on the shroud first, using a hair dryer. Give that a try first

Hi mate i had same problem with removing mine if you get someone to hlod your gun on bottle and grip and you come to front ov your gun put a on your end stoud cover and outher hand on shroud and squeeze and twist anti clockwise with both hands it will come loose there a pain at first but it will come loose pal

Thanks for the comment and tip it did make the “squeaky” sound when I used 2 patches though. Worth remembering for next time 👍

You need two patches for a 22 I think mate, you should also struggle to pull it through, good vid thanks!

Thanks for the comment mate. I bought mine from Vector Air. Just go to their website and type in “metal uragan shroud/rail” I think though that they are out of stock at the moment👍

Try some garlic mayo ,rats love it, and they can't run off with it ,they have to sit still to lick it 😊 the crono might not work on the end of the Vixen because it's where the air stripper is ?

Thanks for your comment, yes I agree but then I suppose the length would be compromised. I’m more than happy with George’s shroud fitted. If I needed any more silence, I can always re-fit the original shroud with my Twink moderator fitted👍

The vixens love the Hades mate I’ve not had an issue with POI! The k Itd the way shoot that’s prevents it.

Yep I agree but for a gun costing this much you’d think they’d put a decent rail on, guess it’s a question of cost. But I did change mine and it feels sturdy. I’ve been recording some more footage with the new zulus 3-12 and I’m getting one hole groups at 27 yards time after time. I’m well pleased with it. Am toying on saving up and getting another vixen short in .177 calibre so that I have a matching pair. And I did manage to dispatch a squirrel yesterday at 27 yds a result 😊

I noticed someone else giving a review of this same rifle that it seemed very accurate when using ZAN 10grain slugs. As I'm looking for a slug gun, it would be nice to see your take with them. 🤔😀👍
