Literally reminds me of when my family went to Darien Lake. Like that was in 2022 or something and like only half the rides were running.. like half of the park was just empty.. and it was really sad..

Before it morphed into Marineland it was a grungy little fake North American 'Indian' village. Never drew any real interest from locals.

I had a season pass for 2024 a day was the 1st time riding roller coaster and Literally 3 or more rides were not running. If you go look at the reviews people were/are So mad that 6 flags was telling them to call some phone # to talk to someone! So I got to rid all thrill rides except flash Boomerang, was Lucky that 1 time Kong opened so i was So mad that it happened. THEN a couple of weeks ago I looked to see what rides were running so I got on the road because it said flash and Boomerang were running so I drove about an hour and a half to find out Neither was running and in Fact we only saw batman, superman, and i think 1 more and the rest weren't running but said they were! Don't waste Anytime at this place until the company that owns Great America and Many other parks including Knotts Berry Farm. Well i got a Great America season pass and added on the all park thing. Now you can get into 6 flags, Magic Mountian, Knotts, Great America. It's a add on that was talked about and finally here. I won't go back to 6 flags until the new company takes over and fixes it up! Oh, Great America has 2 coaster running per rude so lines go Quick, but 6 flags only used one so wait times in line was insane, then there was times the ride would break down (often) and all those people who had been waiting for up to an hour or more all got turned away and they all go to the other rides and it makes that crazy wait time makes you wanna just go home!😅

Even though they are just machines, I cannot help but feeling really sad that they will be gone from existence without a proper good bye, esp. for Kingda Ka.

I really hope that 2026 brings multiple flat rides with the new coaster they’ve removed so much that can’t be the only thing like a screamin swing over the lake would be cool or at the boardwalk would be cool

I hope it’s a flash museum themed queue. Thinking about it they could use green lanterns old sign with a little modification it could become flash.

Better buckle up, because 2025s gonna be worse. We can only hope that the inevitable ka and lantrern replacements actually fix up their dilapidated surrounding areas. If a lack of good rides was an issue, this park would've been fixed in 2006, this park needs a full scale rennovation.

This is awful, 7 rides and possible 8 rides with Sky Safari being rumored to also be going. 8 total rides in 1 year , Cedar Fair management is gutting this park. I get it , Flash is coming now in 2025 , but Flash was 2024 and it didn't happen for 50 anniversary. This is a slow death by 1000 cuts at this point. What's next El-Toro removal? Hard to still pay my pass for Great Adventure imo

If Dorney Park is truly adding a new slide in the coming years, I wonder if Cedar Point Shores will add something similar to whatever is replacing this since they just removed Crosscurrent over at that park.

Watch the flash become delayed to 2026, and then never open.

Six Flags should consider adding more of these rides to some of their parks.

Six flags discovery kingdom is my home park and I love it, I think your putting a little too much hate too it

I’m born and raised in Harrisburg Pa and this park was definitely apart of my childhood. Family reunions, random trips with friend’s families etc. there wasn’t much but definitely fun if you’re young. Now as an adult I have to take my children to super expensive Hershey park 🤣

As someone who’s home park six flags america, discovery kingdom just looks like a permanent carnival with black top pavement every where and coaster just plopped down. But you can probably say that about a lot of six flags parks lol.

😢, i miss the centrifuge, i used to operate it, id always play stuff like slayer and system of a down, nice change from the garbage hip hop that polluted the rest of the boardwalk

Cool parks i remember in November when i was marathoning Kingda Ka Me, you, and Arielle just happened to be in the same teal train that was a fun day!

Discovery Kingdom is weird they tend to do a staggering opening which makes no sense they even do it during peak season and I never understood it that’s why I never bother going at opening
