Fuck yeah for $ 3,000 ! Those HT 4100's are SMOOTH, even though lacking seemingly in power, but that's because of the relative weight of the car to be fair. It's a "cruising car" for sure ! I had an HT 4100 Eldo'. It was NICE !! Just be easy on it, put in the coolant tablets for the aluminum/cast iron debacle, and you're good to go !! If you can get over the turtle speed and torque factor, it really is Nice Luxury !!! I agree with the guy in the brown shirt lol ! ;-)

Motherboard MPG z790i Edge Wifi, cpu i9-13900ks, GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12G (REV2.0) Graphics Card, xbox one kinnect model 1440. But, I am getting these very wide blue columns in the sand pit. Here is a picture of the sand pit with the problem: drive.google.com/file/d/135PzDVRNPbGazL4mq57gkGIRueFJEP3-/view?usp=sharing I only have a inch of sand right now. I ordered 200lbs. Maybe that will help. Also, what is the purpose of the foam board? How high off the sand should it be? Is it to calulate the height of the topology?

Jason - interesting design. I see you have never done any design or machining before. You have 3D printed it, but if you attached a shaft to the club, I bet it was awful to putt with as it would have been far to light - putter heads need to be 310-330 grams to be effective and that crappy resin you use is nowhere dense enough! Also, your hole for the shaft is wrong - shaft diameters are .370” or 9.4mm - so a 9.8mm hole will be like a willy in a bucket fit! So, you will need to machine this from metal - so which metal have you considered in your design to achieve the desired weight? It then comes to machining. How are you going you hold this part when you machine it? How are you going to cut the square corners in the pocket at the back of the club face? How long a cutter are you going to use to machine the 3 slots, so the cutter does not foul on the back of the club face? There are multiple other machining issues you have designed into this which would add massive cost to this job. Marks out of 10 - I will be generous and give you 3, but with your design skills I would not be employing you.

@@jamesstevens1972-q2v lol this is not a machining video, he clearly states that he is just challenging himself to make a putter that he can 3d print and you go off on a tangent that it’s all wrong to machining. I can go deeper into what you said and state that a 5 axis cnc can machine what he made just fine without changes. I would be happy to put this on my machine and prove you wrong
@GoldArtAI4K2 ай бұрын
@@Uncle.J.32 so Uncle, with all your 5 axis experience please tell me how you would machine the square corners behind the face where the side beams join them. In the corner there are no radius so you can't even use a ball nose cutter, so what method would you use to cut the square corners without leaving a machine cutter radius? And if I wanted to be really awkward I would ask how you would machine the slots in the base which also end in square corners. The only way I know of achieving these forms as he has designed them is to use EDM with a solid electrode with the square form on it. Very expensive and another process. There is an engineering technique called "Design for manufacture" which looks at a job in the way I have and checks that the part can be made, and then in an efficient and cost effective way. Just so you know I am had a 5 year toolmaking apprenticeship, followed by time in a design office, and worked in medical, aerospace and nuclear industries on front line projects where my practical and technical experiences have given me a comprehensive exposure to multiple machining technologies and methods, and used a massive range of materials - some very "exotic". So I would really like to learn how to machine a 90deg by 90deg internal corner with a sharp corner (no radius as per the design) by using a 5 axis machine. Please enlighten me.

Hi Jason, for some reason even after following all your steps when I run the Magic Sand app it says that Kinect sensor isn't recognized. I've tried this with 3 separate 1414 model sensors. I've also tried using these files both on Windows 7 and 10 and it seems to behave exactly the same no matter which drivers I'm installing. Any ideas? Thanks for your time!

I know in the comments people have said the chipset on their motherboards cause conflicts. That is probably the issue. You may need to see which chipsets they were having issues with. My class has built this several times using various machines including MSI, surface pro and think pads.

What is the height of the Kinect and the projector?
@make_and_remake5 ай бұрын
This really depends on the protector being used. If a short throw projector is being used then the Kinect sits the same distance as the projector which is around 3 -4 feet above the sand table surface. If it’s a normal projector, the Kinect will still be around 3 -4 feet above, but the projector will be much further away

I had a 2003 Impala LS, and a 2005 base model. I kept up on the maintenance. Both were serviced regularly and the factory maintenance schedule was followed. Both cars had transmission problems, and had to have a new transmission installed by 70,000 miles. Both had to have ABS Tractiion Control Modules replaced by 70,000 miles. Both had poorly designed rack and pinion steering gear leaks, and a steering rack would leak by 20,000 miles. Both had tires that would need replacing every 25,000 miles. I had both engines, and they had to have intake, and head gaskets replaced by 70,000 miles. Both cars were not reliable, and were money pits. Even when following the maintence schedule they still fell apart. The rack and pinion steering racks were poorly designed, and belonged in a smaller car. The engines were too powerful for the transmission to handle. The GM dealers service departments near me said the transmissions, and steering racks were regular service items, and replacements were necessary on these cars. GM could have done better on these 2000 through 2005 Impala's.

FYI, the supercharged 3.8 is just as reliable as the NA 3.8. Both are easy 200k to 300k and more capable without major maintenance. FE is not that different either. My 00 GTP supercharged averaged mid 20s and got around 32 on the hwy. the biggest difference is the gas grade which was a lot more palatable when there was only a 10 cent difference between grades. Also, synthetic oil is not required on the SC 3.8, but why would one not use synthetic on whatever they own? Back in 2029, even with the mileage difference, the much rarer, higher contented, more powerful, much better performance SS is easily the better buy for what you get.
