how do you get the snail; body to connect? every time i try to make it the snail just gets split in half down the middle :c

afternoon, not sure if the problem I am having is due to newer versions that have taken the place of the version used in this video, but when I try to scale (S) the verts, it does not affect the dimensions of the skin modifier.

Why isn't your head deforming? I've read some comments about you mentioning Shape Keys but I still don't understand (my head shape key still deforms). I thought it was a separate object but I watched your other videos, then I thought about the pivot but it's not that either. How do I avoid my snake head from deforming?

Hello, ive seen the low poly snake video and in that video u used a different method of creating the body. is there a way to kind of flatten the body the top part of the array to get that cobra "wings". I can't seem to scale an individual point of my curve on the Z axis to flatten it..

Great tutorial! Just a little tip for people who don't like the gaps you can sometimes see between scales at certain angles - give the bezier curve a geometry node modifier, put in a curve to mesh and plug a curve circle into the profile curve socket with a radius of 0.63. Put a set material between the curve to mesh and the group output, then plug a material node into that with the scales material selected. This will turn the curve into a mesh just below the scales.
