Yep I'm a dons man. I typically don't start making vids on these kids until they reach their bottom age, 16/17 year old season... but I might have to break that rule for Koby. We'll see how he goes. I'm probably more likely to do something from the U16 champs if he stars in that series. Alijah I think is coming off an ACL so we'll have to see how he shapes up. If he's putting in strong performances I'll definitely get him up on the channel.

Not blaming this on you, of course, but do you have any idea why they decided to brand Bushies as yellow and Dandy as black on the scoreboard. Had to consistently second guess myself looking at the board because of the blatant clash.

Nik Cox upgrade?
@footystuffYT
@footystuffYT 24 күн бұрын
The problem with Cox is that he's a player in search of a position. Its great to be versatile, but you need a 1 wood, which Cox has never had. I was a little worried that Willem would end up with a similar problem, but I now feel as though he's going to settle into this mid/fwd role and prove that he's an elite onballer who can damage when he's resting forward.
@Manwithoutplans
@Manwithoutplans 24 күн бұрын
@@footystuffYT I have more problems with cox than his inability to keep a position. His main problem for me is that he can't keep his feet and gets pushed off the ball constantly, plus he's very injury prone. He's already injured in the offseason after finishing the season getting concussed from a blow to his elbow.
@footystuffYT
@footystuffYT 24 күн бұрын
I don't disagree with most of this, but the concussion came from the blow to his elbow causing his own hand to hit his head. Its unfortunate but things happen on a footy field.

Looking forward to seeing Jasper get his AFL debut when ready ? I think he is type of Player that could kick 3+ goals on debut. Becomimg very good at defence presence and set up of play is very important at AFL level for players remaining in the side and playing consistent AFL Football regularly. It’s important at that level of what you do without the football and much as what you do with the Football which is why it such a running game of 💯% effort and work rate game time. With all Draftees from all the Clubs it will be interesting seeing the players adapt to the next level up ? Some do and some don’t ? The Draft is just a number of getting the chance and when that’s done ✅ the hard work starts all over again at a greater level that takes dedication. History shows that so many high end Draft picks have not made it but then Rookie players that were over looked in the draft have made it having to fight for it from day one getting to a AFL Club by a rookie spot. It makes you appreciate the Greats of the game as well staying at the top as a player in the AFL doesn’t happen with out hard work and preparing well throughout there careers. If a player can earn staying at Club by good Football for about 80 games thats when things can start to click for them having experience of AFL games readiness to be playing there best footy and really stamp there mark on the game from then on of just how good of a player they may reach to becoming when about to reach there prime in the competition. All the best to all the Draftees in this Draft lot of 2024 Draft.

Another good mover for his size. Footy is changing fast. I fear for mids that are 180cm or less and there are only a small number of small forwards, back pockets that a club requires.
@footystuffYT

I think its partly balance in your midfield trio. You probably want at least one big boy with long arms and a physical edge to play the defensive sweeper role on the back side of the contest. You can have one smaller, evasive zippy lad who can damage with his run and carry. Gets difficult though if you're small and slow.
