Hi, I have a rule doubt. If I draw a card from the face-down deck, I can decide to keep it or discard it to any discard pile, but if I draw a card from a discard pile, can I just keep it? According to the rules, it seems that the card drawn from the discard pile can be discarded again, creating a loop. Thanks in advance for the clarification.

That is right. You can always discard the drawn card, no matter if it came from the draw- or discard pile.

Do you think it would be worth to get the EGO level for 70 euros + 35 euros of shipping and VAT on top of it or it would be better to wait until it goes retail.

I'm in the same boat as you, but what is pushing me towards backing is the fact they say there's a big chance the first delivery for backers will be way earlier than retail, and there are no customs for my country.

I usually back a game if it offers enough KS exclusive content to compensate for the cost of shipping and VAT: metal coins, playmat, the fact that I'll get it sooner etc. Lately I bought games from an FLGS, so maybe ask a board game shop to hop on the project, if it helps you decide.
