is this your song, Larry? It's amazing!! I love it. I was just out in Rapid City earlier this year working with the Lakota, and I have a new appreciation for the Indigenous People. Plus, my people originally came from Mankato.

Hey Larry, nice song! Great work! Was in Mankato on tour a couple of weeks back, and was moved to write a song about the tragedy of the Dakota Sioux after reading the plaque infant of the Library at Reconciliation Park. Just putting the finishing touches on it, would hope to play it for your some day. Peace, ~ Eric Elison, Lightfoot of the Rockies

The oppressed are no longer mollified by hearing about a better day on the horizon. They’ve heard that for generations. Now they are determined to bring that horizon to themselves... or die trying. It’s time for all of us to help them manifest that day. If we do not, their blood is on our hands just as surely as it is on the hands of those with the real power. Stand together and demand justice for all, because “a threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” (MLK)

@@LarryLongTroubadour Wonderful. It's a very important song. I'm glad it's' getting out there so more people can hear it. Didn't hear back from Stephen Colbert so tweeted it to Jon Batiste (His band leader). One way or another....It's a very brave and courageous song you've written. #goodtrouble

This was bone chilling. So scary to be living in this time, never know what will happen next. Keep up the fight. I appreciate everything about the truth of this song. With the old Baptist sound this takes you back to the '60s.
